I totally agree with Holly Braddy, he did my surgery. NEVER explained to me before surgery what was gonna happen during or after. I woke up to tubes hanging out of me, and every time I saw him I got a different length of time I would have them. I went in after being for severe pain for 5 days, and he basically ask me if I had ever been to rehab and if iI was just trying to get pain meds. I NEVER HAD ANY BEFORE or AFTER surgery. Nor any for the MONTHS before surgery when I was in pain waiting to have surgery. I did not ask for nor want pain meds, I wanted answers as to why I was hurting and how long this was going to go on. NEVER GOT A ANSWER! He has HORRIBLE BED SIDE manners, RUDE and arrogant! I would NEVER RECOMMEND him to treat another person, not even a animal! His PA and Nurses are wonderful! Praise to them for having to work with such a arrogant man. It is obvious they dont even belief his rudeness when they are in the room with you and him.

Dr. Brilliant did my surgery and was great. His office staff was very compassionate and understanding . I would recommend Dr. Brilliant and his staff.

I have NEVER been treated the way this physician treated me. I left the office crying as he insulted me and basically accused me of drug seeking. I have had 1 narcotic prescription in a 2 year timeframe and I have been in pain for over 2 weeks. He could easily have verified that information. He furthermore suggested I had mental issues going on and that indeed it wasn’t pain I was feeling because he could not see it with his physical eye. I plan on filing a complaint with the Medical Board due to the harsh treatement he displayed in my care. I went into the office with much hope to find answers and in great discomfort, only to leave feeling wrongly accused and neglected in my care. His name definitely does NOT describe the quality of care you will receive or any human compassion. Learn the basics of empathy and genuinely care about your patient and LISTEN to them!

Dr Patrick Brillant is a first class "QUACK" I wouldn't trust him to cut my toe nails I had a "Fistula" that I had for over a year all he could say was your ok until it got worse it almost cost me my life, the hole in my bladder an a hole in my intestine got bigger through out the year still no worries he says I was getting particals of food an fecies coming out when I took a pee still no worries he says again during over a month or 2 it continues getting worse the emergency room Dr personally called him 3 times also an told him something needs to be done still no results my personal physician called him also called again by this time I was peeing pure poop an a lot of pain I finally had to have an emergency surgrie to take care of the problem I think I woulda been better of to had visited a veterinian than to had seen Brilliant ,,Brilliant he's not but thanks to a local surgeon here in morehead city he saved my life......GOOD ADVICE stay clear of this man He's a QUACK

He knew my case so well while,some data was citing a different diagnosis,, his knowledge carried through to his correct prediction from first visit! It carried me forward relieving anxiety.

He's wonderful! Caring, compassionate, knowledgeable, and thorough.

It's somewhat disappointing when you have a question following a surgery that could be potentially serious and you cannot get anyone, even an operator, to answer the phone. During business hours, you should not need to leave a message and wait for someone to call you back.
