Dr Ivker has been my physician for 13 years. What I most appreciate about him is how well he listens & how "current" & well-researched he is. When he explains my test results or a rec'd course of action, he's very thorough & doesn't talk down to me. He goes into detail explaining to me WHY he rec'ds what he does. He combines his knowledge of medicine with his data & knowledge of me over time. I feel empowered with my health care - & my overall health has greatly improved over the 13 years I have seen him.

I saw Dr. Ivker because my regular doctor was on vacation. He was very, very thorough in explaining the EKG graph to me. I've never had an EKG explained to me in this way and I must say, it was very enlightening. I don't like to wait until I fall ill before seeking care, therefore, I took a further step and asked him about being tested for any blockages in my heart. He said that he was pretty ...

Loved using Brookwood Internists for years. There was good conversations about my treatment and I could often get in the day of when I was sick. As of late, though, both staff and doc have been brusk. I know that folks are fatigued from the pandemic, but I often feel I'm a bother and guilty for my own health. When I call for meds, I've been grilled for going to a doc-in-the-box for meds when they were closed and when I needed asthma meds. A recent visit, I had a bad cough and, instead of concern for my health, there was more pressure on if I had covid than getting me treated (even though I'd been tested twice). I'm done.

Outstanding physician! Dr Ivker takes time to listen and then clearly explains & recommends steps necessary to address and resolve health problems. I highly recommend Dr Ivker and his Internal Medicine associates and team!!
