Great patient experience but be warned if you are the driver. You have to sit in your car in the heat. For hours in some cases. I was not aware and as a type 1 diabetic it about did me in. Go prepared. And I think if you had the Covid Vax you should be able to be with your loved one.

Today, I had a lingual frenectomy. The entire staff was so nice and encouraging. I arrived at 7:00am and was discharged about 9:00am. It was a smooth transition from parking, to check-in, to pre-op, to post-op! A+ service and facility!

Had a Colonoscopy done here , my second one. These folks have the stuff together, the whole staff are true professionals.The whole procedure went like clockwork Hey,if you have a choice pick this facility to have a procedure done.Great folks.

Less than -1 star. Acute bacterial contamination requiring specialized care. Not worth risking your health. Go somewhere else.

The parking is a night mare, no parking lot, you have to park just where ever. My appointment was at 11:00. I was told to be there at 10.:00. I arrived at 9:45. I did not have my procedure until 12:30. The holding area was not to bad, the nurse were friendly & professional. Once I'm taken in for my procedure, I'm taken to a tiny room that is dirty & not enough room for the nurses to room around my bed. I'm told Dr. Dasher books every 15 minutes on Friday which explains why I'm waiting 2 hours starving... I had the same procedure done several years ago at a facility close to home & the experience was nothing like this. I won't use this place again. Even the lady they had in the parking lot taking your temp was rude & nasty. Just overall not a good experience. Save your self some issues & go else where.

I went to the Birmingham Surgery Center today for a colonoscopy. I had one performed at this facility 5 years ago. The staff is wonderful - the front desk personnel, the pre and post op nurses, the anesthesiologist, and the nurse anesthetist! No one ever looks forward to having to go to a surgical center but this staff was incredible. All of them were very kind and comforting!This visit was set up through Birmingham Gastroenterology. Dr Bluhm and his staff did a great job setting up the procedure and making sureeverything was lined up for me to have a successful test.
