I established care with Dr. Smith at his Hoover office earlier this year and it's been a great experience. I love the office staff and Dr. Smith always takes the time to reach out personally with results or updates. If you're looking for an internal medicine doc in the Birmingham area I can't recommend him enough.

I've been seeing Dr. Smith in Hoover for about a year now. It's been a pleasant experience with both him and his office. It's nice to find an internist who takes the time to listen to you and you always hear from after any tests.

Huge waste of time. All Dr. Smith did was refer me to a different Primary Care Doc. You should definitely go somewhere else.

Went to Dr. Smith to establish a PCP, as I am new to AL. He gave me the information to a different Primary Care Internist and told me to see them instead, or find another office for the future.

I’m new to AL and was searching for a PCP. I spent forever with the nurse, then Dr. Smith just recommended a different Primary Care Internist. Ouch!

This office is extremely unprofessional. We made an appointment months in advance. Then we get a cancellation email the day of. Call to find out why and they say it’s not canceled but we don’t have time to see you. After explaining this inconvenience of the cancellation and that it was an important appointment they decide to keep our appointment. We were met with attitudes and smart comments which made us not even trust that we would be treated properly during the appointment. I would take my family to a place with more professionalism. You shouldn’t feel like your bothering someone when you need care. Being nurses in the healthcare field personally, we know when we aren’t being treated fairly.

Excellent doctor who takes his time but doesn't waste any in visits. He's knowledgeable and my visit there went smoothly with no wait-time. The staff is polite and friendly, as well as helpful.

Went to Dr. Smith today and was very Impressed. The staff listened and I was not pressured in any way,it was a more thorough examination than I have had in many years. It is a relief to know that Dr.Smith and his exceptional staff are here in Double Springs and that they demonstrate such professionalism.
