Amit Arora's Online Review Report Card

This man saved my life. I came to the hospital going in and out of consciousness from seizures and the doctors in the ER said I was having nonepeleptic seizures when I’m 21 and I have had seizures since i was 11. He save my life and showed me the toxic doctors I had in the past that I could’ve been seizure free years ago. He is my hero.

I struggled trying to decide what kind of review to leave here. First, we really liked Dr. Arora. He took alot of time with us during our visit and his NP and the rest of his staff were very nice and courteous. My problem is with after the visit. My husband had tests done and nobody ever called to tell us the results. It took multiple messages to hear back from anybody to see what was going on. As the medical issue we were dealing with was potentially serious, being left in limbo like that was very frustrating. When someone finally called I was told they wanted to do additional tests. That was three weeks ago and not a word. I don't know if this is a managerial issue or what.

My sweet husband started having seizures (seemingly out of the blue) at the age of 26 (most likely due to a traumatic brain injury he suffered when he was 14). I was very nervous about our first visit with a neurologist. I was worried that the neuro we chose would not be interested in the questions we had or take time to ask us questions. I was worried that no one would take the time to explain everything to us because of course as a neurologist you see patients with seizures everyday, but to us this was brand new and life changing considering his career is (was) driving commercially. The new stress and anxiety I had after seeing my husbands Grandmal seizure was almost unbearable... Dr. Arora has been wonderful to work with, I immediately felt a huge weight off of my shoulders after our first visit, Dr. Arora has been wonderful to work with. He and his staff have exceeded every possible hope that I had. They have asked a lot of questions, have been so polite, and answered my questions truthfully and with kindness. Highly recommend. We have always been seen quickly at Dr. Arora's office but I would happily wait whatever time necessary to be seen by him.

I really like Dr. Arora! I do think the doctor and the medical staff make up for the headache of dealing with the office, but I would recommend to do some deep breathing and be prepared to spend some time when you need to communicate with the office. It is very difficult to get hold of anyone by phone, and they do not have the option to leave messages as far as I know. Each time I have tried to call, it takes me several times to get through. Most of the time the phone rings and then disconnects. Makes it very (VERY) difficult to follow up for scheduling, etc.

Dr Amit Arora is the absolute best neurologist around! Very thorough, takes his time, explains everything, and is honest and transparent. Recommend himHighly!

Very thorough testing done to diagnosis my husband with ALS. Took a lot of time to answer all of our questions. Didn’t make us feel rushed. Very pleased with our experiences with Dr Amit Arora.

So far I have had two experiences with doctor Arora. Both have been very satisfactory. He listened to my symptoms and made decisions on what tests to run. After the tests he explained the results and made a plan of action. I can’t thank him enough for his honesty and being no nonsense. I will continue to visit his practice for a long time. His staff has always been professional and friendly as well. Over all 5 star reviews

This is the guy to go to. Dr. Amit Arora has his patients best interest at heart. He will not order unnecessary tests and procedures. He is a straight shooter.
