Dr Pendergrass is very detail orientated and does a very thorough exam. Extremely impressed with his expertise and that of his staff in his office.

From entering to leaving his office the staff were polite and friendly. The medical receptionist was very nice. She even made sure to say goodbye right as I was walking out the door. The wait time was within five minutes. His nurse was also polite and took great care during my eye exam. After she left, Dr. Pendergrass made me feel comfortable and was very personable. He was thorough with showing and explaining my eye issues. He gave me honest recommendations when I asked for his opinion. I have a topography issue in my right eye while my left eye has a stigmatism. He did not rush the eye exam to find the right prescription and I feel confident that when my contacts come in I will be able to see much better. I would definitely suggest him as your optometrist.

Dr. Pendergrass displayed a professional and knowledgeable demeanor while showing great kindness. It's clear that this doctor enjoys helping people. The only drawback I experienced during my visit was when I had to have those drops put in my eyes to dialate my pupils- you know the ones that make the light so bright that it's hard to see...well I got on the wrong bus to go home and now I'm stranded in Boise, Idaho. Oh well, I can't wait to get back to Huntsville to pick up my new glasses.

Loved it! Dr. Pendergrass was so nice and friendly! Very helpful in answering all my questions regarding my eye issues. He even helped me to make the best choice with my insurance dollars. I HIGHLY recommend him to anyone looking for a caring, friendly Optometrist!

Dr. Pendergrass was able to correctly diagnose my vision issues and properly fit me for contact lenses and I have no vision problems currently. My former optometrist did not care or take the time to listen to me, whereas Dr. Pendergrass was very patient and figured out what caused my problems. I highly recommend him.
