Wonderful staff and knowledgeable doctor!! Highly recommend!!!

This practice is a waste of time and likes to bill you for pointless services. I waited 2 1/2 months to get an endoscopy and Dr rice didn’t even say hello to me while I was there. His nurse practitioner trey was not helpful and gave me medication that made it worse. Once they did a HIDA scan on me they were pressuring me to get my gallbladder out. I got a second opinion from a real doctor at huntsville GI at Huntsville Hospital and he told me that it wasn’t my gallbladder. Im so happy I didn’t listen to trey. He was also very rude after I told him what the surgeon told me which was to not get the gallbladder out. Don’t waste your time and money here.

Update: was called and told there would be a $25.00 fee for filling out the prescription form. AC&G is definitely not not what it once was, which was patient centered. I've been a patient at AC&G, as well as my husband, for 9 years now. Initially, we were seen by Andrea Womble and she was absolutely wonderful! Unfortunately, the practice has had a huge personnel turnover and Ms. Womble, as well as other competent staff members, are no longer there. My latest issue with AC&G is trying to get them to fill out a simple form so I can receive a refill on a medication Ms. Womble prescribed. My insurance doesn't cover the medication and Ms. Womble discovered that the company that makes the medication, which is approximately $400 for 30 pills, will send it free of charge to people with Tricare insurance. I dropped off the form to AC&G a week before Christmas and today is January 16, 2023 and unfortunately, Ms. Womble no longer works at AG&G.

Dr. Rice is caring, compassionate and professional. I highly recommend him and his excellent staff.

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Rice. He treated my grandma for years and now he’s my doctor. He was able to diagnose my eosinophilic esophagitis. He’s always in a great mood, makes you laugh and also tells you everything you need to know. Thank you Dr. Rice for helping my family and for everything you do.

Dr. Rice and his PA's are all wonderful. My husband and I have been his patients for years. He's a wonderful doctor and person. He looks out for his patients overall health. We will continue to use his excellent service. PS- Do wish his office staff were a bit friendly.

Did not see the doctor but was very satisfied with his NP, waiting time was longer than anticipated but okay

He really helped my mom by taking her off several medications that were causing her very bad problems. He has a nice chair-side manner and is practical.
