Excellent surgeon.

I drove all the way from Athens to her office in Huntsville and arrived five minutes after my scheduled time. After spending about 4 more minutes in the parking lot struggling to find a parking space, I called Edmonson’s office to let them know that I was in their parking lot and wanted to know if I had to wait for someone to meet me. I was told I would have to reschedule my appointment due to Dr. Edmonson having a tight schedule. She checked with Dr. Edmonson to see if she would still see me, but she refused and demanded that I reschedule the appointment, despite being right outside their door as well as her cancelling my initial appt. two months prior. I called Dr. Mulrooney’s office to see if they could send me a referral to another doctor, which led them to sending me to Dr. William Ehrlich in Birmingham. This all happened on 4/15, and Dr. Ehrlich seen me on 4/18, which led to him performing a successful surgery. Dr. Edmonson and her staff are rude and lack professionalism.

Dr. Edmondson is an excellent injector. I have been going to her for over three years and I have always left her office with good results and absolutely no bruising. I wouldn't go to anyone else.

Dr. Edmonson took a lot of time listening to my eye problem. She offered great feedback and suggestions for what I need to do. I’ve had a prior surgery with her. I was very impressed with her bedside manner and professionalism.

Dr. Edmonson, her staff and the staff at The Surgery Center of Huntsville were all professional, patient and kind. My surgery was Jan 11, 2019 and I have had no problems, no pain and am healing nicely.

I have a chronic, inflammatory disease. It makes such surgery as I have needed very difficult, because my body literally attacks the surgery site. However, Doctor Edmonson, and her staff were even more relentless in their efforts to address the solutions needed. She has, and is standing by me through one of the most trying ordeals I've been through; a fight for my eyes. Autoimmune diseases are punishing, relentless diseases. The chronic pain associated with them just adds insult to injury. All I can do is fight every symptom on every front. When surgery is required for me in any situation, it takes the best. This doctor, and her team accept that challenge. They are there with me, and I don't feel alone. They really care, and show it. I'm sorry that other people have felt the need to leave angry posts about my doctor, and her staff, but I can not imagine these people being anything less than the God sent angels they have been for me. I had been to other doctors. I had two other surgeries too! It only got worse, and then I couldn't get appointments to address the resurfacing problems. They just wanted patients, another number in the appointment book. I was left to find my own way. So, I came back to Huntsville, and found Dr. Edmonson. I made the right choice for me. In the end, that is the best scenario, and the best I could possibly hope for in finding a competent, and caring doctor, because I can't trust just anyone with my eyes.

I waited awhile for this appointment, but it was so worth it. She came in wearing a smile and treated me like her family. Very fun appointment. I will be coming back!
