David Rushing's Online Review Report Card

I had a surgery done by Dr. Rushing and at first, He was very nice a pleasant but after the surgery, his behavior was very dismissive to the point I didn't feel welcome to his office base of his dry responses first visit after the surgery... I will strongly suggest any African Americans to not go to this doctor. He is not our doctor. He seems to be that kind....So, unfortunate...

Dr. David Rushing is a master at his craft, and by craft, I mean cesarean sections. He performed one on me 6 years ago, and I have to go searching for my scar. It’s nearly invisible, I saw the pictures of the procedure and the size of the incision, and I know what should be there. I swear, what Dr. Rushing did is magic. The scar was the thing I feared most about the c-section. How vain is that, right? Well, I needn’t have worried. I was in the best hands.

I could not ask for better care. Dr. Rushing provides excellent care & is also compassionate. He is one of the most thorough phycisians I have ever seen. I am thankful to be under the care of such a wonderful phycisian.

Dr Rushing is a wonderful Doctor and the Nurses are very helpful

He is a terrible doctor. I went to have an IUD placed. I asked him what I should avoid/look out for after placement and he said nothing. He also did not recommend I schedule a follow up. With IUDs, you should go back 1 month after placement to ensure everything is OK. He also did not mention checking for the strings every month. I do not recommend him. He is awful!

Dr. Rushing has been my OBGYN since I was 15 year olds. I am now 29 and he still has maintained the same care, concerned and appropriateness during every pregnancy, loss, and great times in my life. I will never chose another physician as long as Dr. Rushing is in practice. After working in the OR with him and surrounding OBGYN’s especially, he truly is the most knowledgeable and best surgeon due with anything female related in the state. I don’t care if he is treating me in a extreme loving manner. He’s there to be my doctor, not my best friend. I have never had anything but greatness to express about my care from Clinic For Women and Dr. David Rushing in Huntsville. So thankful to get to be a patient under his care!

Surgery at HH, ….Dr. Rushing and all the nurses at HH were the highest professionals. Highly recommend

After visiting Dr. Rushing, it was determined I needed a small surgical outpatient procedure. He was cautious about doing it until I had a test done to make sure which procedure I needed. He didn’t want to do surgery unwarranted. I appreciated that. When I returned for my test results, Dr. Rushing was very informative and took time to answer all the questions I had. Very professional.

Doctor Rushing is the perfect doctor for me. He is very direct, very no nonsense and doesn't sugar coat. He takes care very seriously and has handled any of the concerns I've had during my pregnancy with urgency and confidence. I had a slight complication and he got me to a specialist the very next day. He's not a rainbows and sunshine type of doctor, but that is exactly why I like him.

If I can do it again , I would chose a different doctor. As patient , I didn’t feel like priority when it was my time with the doctor . I felt rushed and processed. He doesn’t fully prepare you with truth of outcome before and after surgery. Nor did he take pictures of his findings during my surgery. I was left in the dark and processed. I missed the days when doctors truly care
