List of Donald Aulds's Reviews
I’ve went to Dr. Aulds literally my entire life, he is my moms Dr., he delivered me and then later became my doctor. Absolutely love him, his wife & all of his staff. Appointments at the OBGYN are never fun but they make you feel comfortable.
Dr. Aulds has taken care of me for 20 years now, and he has helped me successfully deliver two healthy babies. Mrs. Aulds is always kind and caring when checking me in and out, and Dr. Aulds does an amazing job at listening to my concerns and figuring out what is best for me in my particular situations. I am very grateful Dr. Aulds is my doctor!
Everyone was very nice. Thank you for being kind.
I Love Dr. Aulds! He and his staff have always made me feel comfortable. He is always patient and kind and took the time to explain things and listen to my questions or concerns. I had a serious condition develop from blood clotting and he worked me in several times to help take care of it. Not only did he do everything in his knowledge to help me, he told me of other doctors he would bring my case to if needed. Not arrogant at all! His main concern is keeping his patients well and healthy. If something is beyond his ability he is going to make sure you get the attention you need. Highly recommended!
Dr. Aulds is an outstanding physician of impeccable character. He and his staff have taken excellent care of me for about twenty years. He’s always listened to my concerns, addressed the issues with clarity and wisdom. He always asks me if I have any more questions. I had to call him regarding my high school age daughter during a literal snowstorm. He responded and took care of her problems. I’m very grateful I have such a caring and wise physician who will do what needs to be done in a professional fashion.
Dr. Aulds is so attentive, kind and helpful. When I have had worries or concerns, he has truly listened to me and helped me figure out solutions. His office staff are also very kind and professional. They have always been so courteous, both on the phone and in person. I highly recommend this practice.
Lacks up to date basic knowledge: Dr Aulds misread labs, provided incorrect information etc. (in front of a witness). Protect yourself from these inadequacies by seeking a qualified ob/gyn.
Dr. Aulds does not demonstrate proper listening to his parients. He does not take seriously the size of the child during pregnancy and how it can effect both labor and delivery and the health of the child. He doesn't seem to have a sixth sense as to when something is going wrong during labor. He doesn't appear to pay attention to both the patient and the baby during labor. He demonstrates poor problem solving abilities. He seems to be "unaware" of warning signs that things could be going wrong both during pregnancy and during delivery. Because of these weak areas of his, my son died after labor and delivery. He does a very poor job of listening to his patients as well as listing to the baby's signs of distress. Therefore, I would rate him as a very poor pregnancy and delivery doctor. I would also rate him a very very poor medical doctor for any kind of OBGYN medical problems. I would NOT recommend him to anyone and I would also recommend for young women to seek out WOMEN OBGYNs for their pregnancy and deliveries. They tend to understand womens bodies better,
I find that Dr. Auld demonstrated poor prevention and on-site problem solving and monitoring during my delivery of my son. I clearly showed in my pregnancy that I was carrying a very large male child before delivery. There was no intervention to try and delivery the child early, During delivery I didn't find he was paying enough attention to me and he did not act when after about 12 hours with a large baby he did not intervene to deliver the baby safely through C-section. The end result was my son died and it also caused me years of biochemical problems and suffering because the stress of this pregnancy and delivery caused permanent severe hypothyroidism for me.
I started seeing Dr Aulds 20+yes ago. I was being seen by another OBGYN her in Hsv and That said Dr said I had miscarried when in fact I was much sicker than that. I went to Dr Aulds after my mom had blood work done to ck my hormone level and in fact was was still climbing through the roof. So, he did an ultrasound in his office and was seeing no amniotic sack so he sent me for a more in-depth ultrasound sound that next day. That evening I started bleeding very bad I called Dr Aulds and he called me back IMMEDIATELY and told me that I had a molar pregnancy which grows 10x faster than a normal pregnancy and that I would need a D&C ASAP! I said all this to say that Dr Aulds saved my life! And he took care of me for months. I had to have blood checked once a week for several weeks to make sure my hormones were going back to normal. When they almost made the normal readings my hormones started to triple back up. Dr Aulds went as far as calling a specialist in Bham to find out what they thought he should do. I wound up having a half strength chemo treatment to kill it. If Dr Aulds had not done that it would have turned to cancer. So I THANK GOD FOR DR AULDS and I will stay with him until he retires. Hopefully not for a while.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
