Staff is extremely rude when indicated I might want to get a second opinion I was threatened that there was not another Pediatric GI I in town and it might take me a while completely inappropriate!

He always takes his time with my daughter. He listens to what we (parents) have to say & takes it into consideration for her treatment. Explains all treatments & test results. He is an awesome doctor & I recommend him to anyone with children who need a gastroenterologist.

My son had stomach issues for years and we were referred to Dr. Laney. He came in and lectured my son and never laid a hand on him or performed a test. I asked for a different referral to Vanderbilt and they did a simple test to identity the issue and develop a treatment plan which now requires surgery. Dr. Laney embarrassed my son and made the situation much worse. Had he taken the time to listen or do a simple x-ray, he would have seen the problem and wouldn’t have missed the diagnosis.

Dr. Laney would not return my call when my child was in pain and distress. He is not interested in the cause of my child's problem. His only solution was to give him Miralax. See a specialist in Birmingham or Nashville. You will receive very good care from doctors who truly want to help your child.

I am extremely disappointed in Dr. Laney. He was not helpful at all to find the cause of my child's digestive issues. If you want to help find a long time cure and not just mask the symptoms, look elsewhere.

Dr.Laney is very good with my daughter. I was terrified the first time I had to go but he was very professional and explained everything to me. He did not do like some doctors and make you feel stupid when asking a question. I was very pleased with the overall experience which can be very traumatic when dealing with a young one.
