My mom saw Gerald a couple of times in late October and early November of 2019. The receptionist left a voice message at 7 p.m. on Wednesday informing her of an appointment on Friday. She never confirmed the appointment nor did she get the message in time. The office ended up charging her $25 for missing the appointment. The doctor was very arrogant and rude to my mother. She ended up going with a better Ear, Nose and Throat doctor. He actually listened to my mother and diagnosed her correctly unlike Gerald.

In 2000, Dr. Brochato removed nasal polyps, adenoids, and widened my sinus passages. Before the procedure, I was a mouth breather, always congested, and suffered from severe sinus irritation. After the surgery, I discovered what it was like to inhale crisp clean air through my nose. I still remember my follow up visit when he took out my splints. I held it together until I made it to the car and I cried joyous tears. My life changed at that moment and I don't take it for granted. It has been 19 years since my procedure and I am still breathing through my nose wonderfully. I was so inspired and eventually became an Registered Nurse. I am truly grateful to Dr. Brocato to this day for his skill and changing my quality of life.

Dr. Brocato is an excellent Doctor, he has a great bedside manner. I am so happy that I am his patient. He’s fair & has compassion & concern for his patients. I feel very bless that he is my Doctor. We have something in common, we are both from New Orleans, La. Anyone reading this comment, if you need an ENT Doctor go see Dr. Brocato you will be very please. Patsy Guidry-Alford

I have long been a patient, yet when I am in pain and cannot hear, the soonest I can get an appointment is twelve days out. Then when I do finally get in to see him, he is in and out of the room in under five minutes, not allowing for any questions. I feel he does not care at all about me; I'm just a number. He also gives conflicting instructions each time I see him.

I’ve been going to Dr.Brocato since I was 11 yrs old and I’m now almost 18. I have chronic sinusitis and reoccurring nasal polyps which he has removed in 4 different surgeries. He’s a wonderful doctor who knows what to do to fix the problem and always does so in a fast and easy way. I’ve known him so long I feel like I know him like the back of my hand. I know what he’s gonna do to fix me up and I thoroughly trust him. Definitely recommend!

He doesn't listen to any concerns you have because he is so much wiser than you. I DO NOT recommend him! So glad there was another doctor who listened to me.

It has been years, as I moved away; but the care was outstanding. I felt comfortable with this diagnosis . He listened to the patient!!

Dr. Brocato doesn't listen to what you have to say. Just comes in, checks your throat, throws out ideas, interrupts you and sends you off to another doctor. Doesn't really care for his patients.
