Dr. Owen performed a reverse total shoulder replacement for me on March 9. Following my surgery, I had zero pain. I couldn’t believe it. I have had six weeks of physical therapy again with no pain. I highly recommend Dr. Owen to anyone who may need the same procedure.

Dr. Owen worked me into his already busy schedule on short notice. He was very knowledgeable of my problem. He was pleasant and I didn't feel rushed. I would definitely recommend him for orthopedic issues.

Dr. Owen performed a total reverse shoulder replacement on my right shoulder in May, 2022. He is professional and skilled, with lots of experience in treating athletes. His bedside manner is also amazing. Dr. Owen takes time to talk with his patients and to explain the treatment, as well as to really listen to any questions and/or concerns. Dr. Owen, his staff, and all the Dr's and staff at SportsMed are very caring and knowledgeable medical professionals. I fell and broke my wrist right after moving here to Huntsville a couple years ago. I was treated at a local ER who recommended I follow up the next day with an Orthopedic specialist, and recommended Dr Owen. Dr Owen's staff got me in to see him that next day, and the following day he performed surgery on my wrist to install a steel plate. I was able to go back to work a couple days later following the weekend with just a removable wrist brace. My wrist healed quickly and I've had no issues since. Dr. Owen has since then been treating me for Osteoarthritis in both my knees. I trust Dr Owen and his staff so much that soon he will be replacing my knee joints. I can hardly wait to be free of arthritic pain in my knees. I highly recommend Dr Owen and all the staff at SportsMed in Huntsville!!!

This was my first visit to the facilities and the staff. Getting in/parking was a breeze....easy and convenient. I came in early, was promptly called in where I met a well prepared staff to help diagnose my problem. I was x-rayed within 10 minutes and then met with a PA within the next 5 minutes and Dr. Ownen within the next 5 minutes. This was an excellent visit to a very well prepared and knowledgable staff. GREAT visit!
