X-Ray technician was awful! Not polite. Never told me to relax or put my foot down. Terrible bedside manner. Nurse who took me back to exam room was great! Very polite and concerned about my well being! Dr. Sterling is always great, thoughtful and generous with his time!

In July of 2022 I had three major back surgeries the last of which was adult scoliosis repair essentially fusing t4 through s1. This was done in Texas where I lived at the time. I had 4 spinal surgeries prior to the July rebuild of my spine. I moved here about 5 months ago. One Saturday morning I went to pick up a q-tip and felt my back snap. Went to the hospital and found out that one of the rods had broken. After several visits to the hospital trying to get it fixed I was told that it was unfixable. I was absolutely devastated!!!! I was referred to some other doctor that never returned my calls. So after doing a good deal of googling I found my saviors. I called Sports Med. From the moment I was in their office I was treated exceptionally well. They did X-rays to confirm the diagnosis. In the door walks Patel. He was extremely personable and friendly and proceeded to tell me I had a big problem. He printed out the X-ray and showed me more than just the broken rod. Then here comes Dr Fruedenberger who also was extremely personable and friendly. I explained my situation to them and told them I was told it was unfixable. They scheduled my surgery for two weeks away ( which is unheard of). There are no words to describe how grateful I am to Dr Fruedenberger and his staff for giving me back my life!! I really thought I would spend the rest of my life with broken rods in my back. During the surgery they discovered that both rods were broken so both were fixed. While in the hospital my pain was managed I didn’t have to beg for pain relief. Even after the surgeries I have been treated with the utmost respect. If I need something Patel makes sure that I have it. The whole staff at sports med have been amazingly awesome!! Dr Fruedenberger, Patel, Jesse, and Jessica have gone above and beyond their call of duty!! And trust me, I have seen enough spine doctors and neurosurgeons to know great service when I receive it. If you need a team of people to genuinely care about your quality of life: Dr Fruedenberger, Patel and their team are the people to call without a doubt. Thanks guys and gals for treating me the person not just another back surgery. Y’all gave me my life back!!! If you ever need advertising I’m your gal!!!

This is one great Dr. that listened, great bedside manner, awesome staff, and God gifted surgeon. He took so much time in pre-op to explain what he was going to do during surgery and then after leaving, took even more time to come back and pray with us. A truly caring man and outstanding Doctor that I highly recommend other seek out.

My visit with Dr.Sterling due to pain in my foot for months was a success.He was very helpful in explaining the reasons behind the pain (Plantar Fasciitis)and recommended me to wearing a surgical boot to help with the problem.
