Hard to a find a cornea specialist in a small city. Does a through exam and explains best treatment options
Had 3 different visits when I showed anxiety about the surgery was told you are already legally blind in that eye what harm could it do then kept they canceled first and second surgery I declined to schedule a third sugery
I had fraction on one eye that made my vision worse. I had caterac surgery in the other and my vision wasn’t improved. I’d had RK previously but now I have to wear glasses all the time. Have floaters in the last surgery eye. Maybe this would have happened with any surgeon but I paid an extra $300 for a machine to “get the correct reading “
Outstanding "eye doctor." I am filling this out for my wife. We are both patients of his in Madison. He's very patient, explains everything, knowledgeable, and most importantly, he's thorough. We always feel comfortable at his office and the front desk staff & medical assistants are friendly and knowledgeable. We are over 60 so it is of utmost importance to have an excellent ophthalmologist. We visit every year for eye exams or if we have some type of eye issue. When I had an eye issue in 2021 they saw me immediately! Outstanding physician.
There office and doctor does not return calls nor takes a personal interest in you The surgery scheduler cannot keep dates as offered for surgery. First visit the doctor wanted to do eye surgery with little or no discussion. Can not get through to anyone in office without call back or long waits.
Due to my experiences and observation, and perhaps my personal philosophy, I am among those people who feel more than a little uneasy dealing with pharmaceutical-based Western medicine. But after all of my heroic DIY attempts to resolve cataracts had failed, I surrendered and went to the Eye Center. There I ended up under the care of a man who is extraordinary in all respects. His name is Dr. Paul Adam Frederick. His air of easy self-assurance, not to speak of his reputation as a surgeon among his peers, inspired my confidence in his skill and good judgement. Whatever I may think of the practices of conventional medicine, my trust in this particular physician has been vindicated. At 70 years old, I now see better, without glasses, than I have at any time in my memory. And maybe I am a tad less judgmental about the ideology and practices of mainstream medicine now than I was before. ;> It is an honor just to meet someone like Dr. Frederick. And we who get to be among his patients can co

I have been extremely thankful and pleased with Dr Frederick. I had an eye condition that required a surgical procedure. He was excellent!
Dr Fredrick removed my cataracts and I felt confident and well cared for during both surgeries and follow ups. I see much better now.
Very straightforward, kind, informative and knowledgeable doctor

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
