At 40 years old, I had noticed some significant thinning of my hair down the middle of my scalp and my crown. It was hidden behind a pretty good hairline, so no one noticed I was losing any hair. My daddy wasn’t noticeably thinning until his mid-50’s, so I was thinking it was a little early for me to be okay with it. One day, as my 6-year-old was playing with my hair, she said, “Daddy, you’re going bald!” Where she learned the concept I have no idea. I knew of Steve Latham by reputation. I wasn’t a guy who “Googled” videos and really studied up on the process of hair transplanting, I just knew Steve was the guy to go to. I looked him up, gave him a call, and was sending pictures of my hair loss the same day. Steve shared what he could do and in a couple of weeks, I was in his clinic having the procedure done. It is an operation, and like any operation, it’s not necessarily a walk in the park, but Steve and his team are there to make you as comfortable as possible, answering questions & concerns along the way. For myself, I simply trusted the process. Two months removed from the procedure, I am already seeing great results, which included a stem cell procedure. When I went to my barber this week, who has been my barber for 26 years, he was very impressed with Steve’s work. Having heard of Steve Latham‘s reputation himself, my barber had even suggested that I give the transplant a shot. He even had to look for the transplant incision. When I understood that losing my hair was a choice, I wanted to do something about it. Going to Steve Latham was a great choice. He has a passion for his work and it shows. I waited 10 months to make my review. Had procedure in February 2020 and Steve told me if I paid cash he would do as many grafts as I wanted. I paid cash and was explicit on my expectations and he said no problem. After the procedure I felt as though there was not nearly enough coverage and that the result would look very thin. Steve told me to give it 6-9 months to see how it filled in and if I was still dissatisfied he would do another procedure free of charge. Fast forward to now, the few hairs that were transplanted are doing fine. But, as suspected, does not look right and looks nearly the same as did before the procedure. I contacted Steve and sent photos. He remembered me and said another procedure needed to be done and our conversation about me being dissatisfied after the procedure, but eluded there was no way he could do it for free because due to COVID he was "BROKE." I feel cheated and scammed. I paid a lot of money in cash and did not get the result I was looking for. BEWARE!

Steve is a great business man, with a strong conviction for customer service, and that is getting harder each year to come by. He has taken care of me for 22 years and modified my needs as the years go by. Keep your expectations reasonable and he WILL deliver. My life has been greatly improved because of him!! Steve Latham is superb. I have been a nurse for 44 years and have assisted in countless surgeries. Steve Latham exceeds all others that I have been privy to. He is a consummate gentleman as well. Also, he explains things thoroughly, and answers questions very enthusiastically and comprehensively. He has an excellent staff as well. I recommend Steve Latham for hair transplants most heartily and without reservation.

Do yourself a favor and stay away from this clinic. They promised 1200 grafts & only planted 600 grafts with 1200 hairs. Save your money & go to someone that is reputable.

As a trans-woman I was concerned with finding a clinic to provide hairline construction and fill in that would respect me and perform the operation in an accepting/welcoming environment. I think Steve and his staff hit all marks and then some, I was immediately aware of Latham and his staff were hands on, friendly folks that get right to the planning and are not pushy about timelines or sales. His prices are the most affordable I've found and was not disappointed with the results. He helped me design a new hairline using photographs from my sister and mother and was informative on the nuances of hairline shape and asymmetry. He was excited and engaging through the entire design process and that was refreshing. He made it clear he's had 40 years of experience doing this and his expertise shows, now 3 months after the transplants occured I'm beginning to see the growth just as he predicted. In addition to 2500 transplants I also received plasma rich platelet injections through my scalp, I won't candy coat this, it was a very painful operation but his staff made it very tolerable and pleasant. I'm hopeful to the results of both sessions, I do know my hair already looks fuller. I'll update my review in a year's time when maximum results of the procedures can be seen. but overall I was very satisfied with the services I received here, I left feeling like family.
