The hair units are great as well as the stylist. The problem I have is with the owner and his agent that I consulted with and quoted a price for 2 units that I agreed with. I returned when the 2 units came in thinking both units would be cut in and styled. They said they only scheduled time to style one. Well, okay however after the stylist finished I went to the front desk to schedule another appointment to style the 2nd unit. At that point I was told I own them an outrageous price for styling. Seems they don't tell you that there's a separate charge for the hair and another for cutting in and styling. This company is not up/front and honest with new customers. I will not be back , too bad because the stylist is 1st class. Too bad I can't say the same for her boss .
Would not recommend at all they will run up your care credit account with false hope that laser hair therapy will regrow your hair, the treatments were unsuccessful and misleading.
I have been referring clients to IHRS in Jacksonville over 15+ years. Having dealt with Dave and his team on a professional basis and seen first hand how they take care of their clients, they are one of the few companies that I feel confident in referring friends and clients to who are searching for viable hair loss solutions. They fully stand behind their products and services. True professionals.
I got a groupon for laser treatment. When i went in to use the laser treatment, they said that the laser really only works to stimulate hair after the surgery. I agreed to have surgery. They informed me that there would be a small scar in the back of my head but it should heal and the hair would cover it up. Coming out of the surgery they were selling me the laser treatment, this is really screwed up to have someone that is under medication to be making financial decisions. The transplant surgery was aweful, didnt work. Went back to IHRS and asked to fix the issue, they said either have another surgery or get a wig. The wig was really expensive system, you have to purchase a new one every 4 months $600 and you have to get it adjusted every 2 weeks $100. If you are active then the wig isnt a good idea, the glue gets really nasty and leaves a residue on your forehead. I finally had enough with IHRS and the fact that they were constantly raising your fees, because once you purchase the wig you are cornered into using them for adjustments and getting new ones. I shaved my head and left with a huge scar on the back of my head now. dont buy from these guys, they are aweful. Terrible operation, terrible business, total bait and switch tatic and to sell stuff while you are coming out of surgery is super unethical.
I've just started going to IHRS recently, but so far the results have been incredible for me. I've struggled with thin hair and female pattern hair loss for a very long time, and the hair system that I have now has boosted my confidence and eliminated my hair issues. I can have an active lifestyle without worrying about my hair! I know that it is a lifelong commitment, but it is definitely worth it. I will continue to review as time goes by, and I am confident that it will remain positive. Dave and his team have walked me through every step of the way, have called me to follow up after my visits, and remind me to contact them if there is anything that I need. Thank you!
Dave Barker is one of the top hair loss, hair replacement professionals in the country. I've known him for years. And, he's a great guy, because, if you EVER have a problem, he'll take care of it - along with his wonderful staff. The service at International Hair is outstanding. They got into this when it was pretty-much all-male. They've adopted an outstanding hair loss program for females too. I talked to a long-time client named Johnny - who makes himself available to anyone who wants to know - what it's like - going to International Hair for... almost 20 years! Thanks Dave Barker. hair4me.com/johnnylovesi…
I have been going here for years, although I provide my on hair unit, the cost was 75 dollars, then within the last year they went up to 85 dollars! In march I brought my unit in as always just to find out they charge me 200 dollars plus the 85, today 8-9-17 I had it removed, to let my head breath, so it was removed and I was charged 85 dollars!!! They called the owner Dave, and he is the one that set that price!! I'll never go here again! Seems the owner is more concerned about the dollar than keeping his clients!!!
Beautiful location in Jacksonville, Florida. Dave and Craig are up to date with all the latest hair restoration technology. I was fortunate enough to work with them on Thursday at the Women's Hair Loss Seminar IHRS hosted on Thursday.
I used IHRS for over two years for a replacement hair system and also had two implant sessions. 4 out of 5 hair systems were not made to my specifications. Color was inconsistent and unwanted hair parts. As for the implants, I've had both types, evasive and non-evasive. After huge cost and serious swelling, neither yielded enough hair to obtain a natural front hair line. They don't live up to their "you'll be happy with the results" guaranty. I gave them a two star for the technicians which are really good and eager to please. I now get my hair systems from "hair direct" online. Of course, I do not get any services but for half the cost of IHRS with no travel expenses, Hair Direct has been a good experience so far
I got a groupon for laser hair treatments at this location. I'm not quite halfway through them yet so I'll have to add to my post later as to whether or not they helped. They will definitely try to sell you other products but I'm leery to invest too much money until I see how this first round of treatments goes.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
