Wolfson Children's Hospital's Online Review Report Card

We visited the Er in oakleaf for my 4 year old. They were absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to find out what was wrong with my girl. We ended up getting transferred to Wolfsons Children’s hospital where we spent the next 2 days. Every one was so nice and attentive and made sure my baby had everything she needed. Thank you to all the nurses, drs, techs, ambulance and EMTs and all other staff for being nothing short of amazing.

Son had popped all over his bed. Had to call them twice on nurses line. Had to change his sheets myself with no help.

They have been taking care of my kids when ever they got really sick since they were born. Even though it's only been a few times each time it's different staff and they are always amazing and test thoroughly and properly diagnose and treat the issue whether it's crowded or not. Recently my 14 yr old woke up with a fever of 105 had a severe headache difficulty breathing and had severe bodyache. I rushed him to st Vincent's on Belfort rd and they left us unattended in the lobby even though he had severe symptoms of covid and no one else was in the lobby at 6am. A man walks in with a headache and they immediately triage him in the back after 5 minutes. Me and my sick son were in the lobby for 45 minutes with no vital checks or anything done. I rushed him from there to Wolfsons and luckily no one was in the ER here as well. They triaged him within 10 minutes and immediately started treating his symptoms within 20 minutes. Thoroughly tested him with the proper tests since he's asthmatic. Tested him for covid, which came back positive the following day. But they didn't wait for the results they see this everyday so they treated him immediately for covid symptoms and 2 hrs later we were on our way with my son feeling a little better and a decreased temperature, B/P, and pulse rate compared to when we checked in. From the triage nurse to registration to the xray tech to the nurses to the doctor we experienced a perfect ER visit and I would like to thank them all. I wish I had all of their names but this is what Healthcare should be. I know there's a shortage of staff everywhere and everybody's overwhelmed but during a health crisis severe symptoms should be attended to and not taken likely and that's exactly what this hospital did. They were on their A game and took care of my baby. Thanks to them my baby is on his way back to good health. I want to say the Dr was Dr Steven...but I'm not 100% sure as I was a nervous wreck at the time we checked in.

They saved my daughter's life. Period.

This is the best hospital so far when it comes to having your baby.. the doctors are wonderful especially when it comes to taking care of a premature baby.. they really took care of my child and was working with me throughout the process!

This hospital is the reason my grand daughter is still alive. Thanks to the magnificent team of doctors in the department of infectious disease control my princess survived MIS-C. Don’t take this lightly Covid can be deadly. So please protect yourself and others around you 😷 ♥️🙏🏽.

Full recovery date was miscalculated as 2 weeks for ruptured or non ruptured appendices removal was transfered from Fernandina Beach Baptist ER to here on 25th of October surgery happened on 26th of October and now it November 19th and I got a hernia In my sleep last night but it is ok *update* never mind that pain was gas

My kid was diagnosed by a trainee orthopedic in ER dept at Town center who could not understand the XRay and suggested to go for reduction process when it was not at all required. The hospital realized their mistake next day and everyone just had one word for us SORRY. My kid was fasting for more than 15 hours to get anesthesia and when he was Abt to get it the other orthopedic at downtown said no further process needed. The hospital completed the internal review process, sent us couple of apology letters but Inspite of all this mess by hospital, I am now asked to pay the bills for wrong treatment.
