List of Anitra Batie's Reviews
Amazing staff and doctor.
Dr. Batie has been my doctor since she came to Jasper. She has always listened to my concerns. Made sure I had the test my age requires for me to have yearly. My parents used her and all my sisters use her. Her staff is great and you never have to wait long to see her.
Doctor Batey is the best she cares about her patients
Dr.Batie really cares about her patient's.She is the most sincere Doctor I have ever had the pleasure of being a patient of.She & her staff are very professional. You never have to wait longer than the usual wait time.I just can't say enough of Dr.Antria Batie & Staff.
Absolutely the worst! REPEATEDLY Ignored complaints from my 70 year old mother of debilitating urinary tract pain that (after passing out at home several times, and requiring the assistance of EMT'S and a ride to the hospital in an ambulance) was later diagnosed by ER attendings as severe kidney stones that required immediate surgery and hospitalization that might possibly have been avoided if this "doctor" would have simply paid attention to her patient and forwarded her to a urologist, rather than "calling in" medication to the pharmacy that did nothing to resolve the situation. Ignored for almost a calendar year complaints from my mother regarding problems with sores on the bottom of her feet that made walking extremely painful. Blew off my mother when she started showings signs of hand tremors that made a simple task such as holding a cup of water nearly impossible, forcing her to seek remedy and treatment at UAB Emergency room when the tremors became exceedingly worse, completely missed a growth under the skin on the neck that was later diagnosed as cancer (requiring weekly chemotherapy and daily radiation treatments for nearly 5 months)after having just recently examined my mother and being informed that something was there, then cuts her off of medication prescribed for migraine headaches because the cancer center prescribed her a different pain medication when she began losing the ability to swallow or even talk due to daily radiation treatment on her neck, even though she was prescribed a different pain medication after surgery for kidney stones, and after having a biopsy on her neck when it was discovered that the missed growth was indeed cancer. They tell her that she can no longer receive her migraine medication and will have to get that in the future from the cancer center even though that isn't what she's going there for, and to make it a total slap in the face, she's THANKFULLY finished (hopefully for good) with her cancer treatment and will no longer be required to go there (unless pending scans and evaluation determine that the cancer hasn't been successfully abated) but now has to deal with her recurring and constant severe migraines (not helped any by unending worry regarding the unknown state of the cancer) without medication that would give relief, because this "doctor" completely cut her off simply because her cancer treatment gave her a completely different pain relief for a completely different medical issue that had absolutely nothing to do with the medication prescribed for migraines. And now that treatment for cancer is over she has no access to anything that can help with the migraines. It's like apples and grapes, one has nothing to do with the other, but this weak excuse for a physician apparently See's apples and apples somewhere in her mind. I would NEVER RECOMMEND this "doctor" to anyone. You'd be better off consulting a voodoo witch doctor, would likely have a more competent health professional looking after your best interest. If I was on my death bed and she was the only alternative to death, I'd rather just die and save myself the aggravation and frustration of dealing with this person. Too bad my mother was loyal for far too long to a "doctor" that just doesn't seem to care about her patients.
Very friendly, great bedside manner... Love, love Dr. Batie
Pitiful excuse for a doctor. Won’t return phone calls. Won’t prescribe any pain meds for my wife who has pleurisy, fluid around her lungs, which is very painful. Tried to send her to a pain management clinic for a short term condition. I wouldn’t recommend her to anyone.
My mom has used her for several years. Mom is a diabetic and dr. Batie has struggled getting my mom's sugar regulated correctly. She was recently diagnosed with bronchitis. My mom had an appointment today for blood work and wanted to speak to dr. Batie because the medicine she was given was not helping with the bronchitis. She refused to speak to my mom. I would not recommend anyone to her. Patients depend on their doctor to be there for them and dr. Batie is a failure in that aspect. Needless to say, my mom will be finding a doctor who actually helps their patience and will be there for them.
Dr Baties office staff was super friendly and worked me in for a sick visit even though they were extremely busy. She was very thorough and took great are with me, would refer everyone to see her.
Friendly staff. Nice to see a staff that smiles. Batie is a great doctor.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
