April Ramsey's Online Review Report Card

I can not recommend Dr. Ramsey highly enough! I have had several bouts of Basil Cell Carcinoma and I feel that I have received the best of care. She listens and is very thorough with her examinations and at the same time makes me feel very comfortable and confident in her findings and treatment. Highly Recommend!!

Very understanding, great listener, through understanding of patient's needs

Dr. Ramsey takes her time to explain what needs to be done, checks my skin carefully, and listens to my concerns. I am very pleased and highly recommend her services.

Dr. Ramsey is a great doctor with excellent nurses. However, the office environment is terrible. Their billing manager has hung up on me, their office manager does not return phone calls. I was told by the billing manager she is too busy to call patients back. All I wanted to do was make payment arrangements. I have been treated rudely, unprofessional and unworthy to be a patient in the practice. It's embarrassing...

I would not recommend using Dr. Ramsey to anyone. She biopsied normal skin on my neck and missed the cancer. I am familiar with skin cancer enough to know to get a second opinion and sure enough, it was cancer.

Knew what my problem was and cured it quickly.

Smart, sensitive and kind

At first I felt dr. Ramsey was a little judgemental, but I think it has to do with it being my first visit to the dermatologist and feeling uncomfortable/sensitive about why I was there. She does seem to rush....but make sure you ask all the questions you need answered...she will gladly take the time to discuss things with you.The last two visits have been great.... She's friendly, knowledgeable, and will take the time to explain things. She walks in with a smile, which I appreciate.

By far, this Physician ranks out at the Rudest, Condescending, Judgmental to date. I can only hope that she does not treat all patients this way, as when you choose to go into Healthcare you are choosing to asses the Patient issue not your personal judgments. I am shocked at how inappropriate the care was by this doc, as I a aware of how each step of an exam should be followed. When a patient is laughed at, looked at with disgust, blatantly asked if they use "drugs", and not given a proper medical exam. This is a major issue. I assure you that I have never been so embarrassed to seek medical care in my life. And have never been treated as such, or accused of such nonsense. Working in healthcare I do find it is easier for some to throw quick diagnoses (i.e. anxiety, depression) if they are unknowledgeable about the disease process, instead of trying to put the puzzle pieces together and research. I wouldn't waste your time with this one, bedside manner and treatment is a FAIL!

Dr. Ramsey is absolutely wonderful! She listened to everything I said and allowed me to explain my situation, as many doctors do not. She did more in one visit than I could have hoped for! I was about 30 minutes early and was actually able to get back about 20 minutes early. I was in and out super quickly. The assistants and other staff are all super friendly and helpful! I would definitely recommend giving her a shot! I can't thank her for enough for how much she has helped me!
