Gastro One's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Randy Frederick is the absolute best He has been my gastro doc since 2005 when I was diagnosed with Crohns. I have only been to the Wolf River office originally Memphis Gastro over the years but I have never had a problem with the nurses assistants billing receptionists etc. like the other reviews here reported. Ive had 3 colonoscopies over the years by Dr. Frederick with the 4th coming up soon. The endoscopy center staff are also courteous and professional. Ive never had a problem with them either. In my opinion Dr. Fredereick is THE BEST gastroenterologist in the city Give him a try

Doctors were nice and from what I can tell anyways know how to do their job. Customer service is terrible. Billing is always screwed up and hidden fees go to separate departments you do not see on the bill. No help on the phone to answer questions because they will not answer it and you must leave a message which might come back that day and might not. Super inconvenient when they are only open during the hours that you work also.Nor to help with payment explanations. Or even just to take a payment. What a headache to deal with. They make it super complicated to understand their billing and then not answer the phone so that you get fed up and pay it. The people at the office are nice but unfortunately their billing is a separate department and the one you actually have to deal with the most. You pay when you get there then they take parts of that payment and give it to doctors which is not reflected on your bill when it says you owe them money so when you try to verify that you owe the balance with your insurance they agree that you dont. Seems shady to me.

Very professional and they run their practice like a well oiled machine. My mom husband and myself are patients of Dr. Dragutsky and if your scheduled for an appointment your taken back very quickly. I am not a fan of going to the doctor and if I have to wait a long time I get angry.

I had a terrible experience with the doctor. It was a complete and total waste of money to go here I have a very long story with the doctor I used and it literally makes me so mad I hope this review will help others to beware of this place.

This place is horrible. First there customer service needs works. The ladies behind the desk are rude. When I walked in I came in smiling and said good morning how are you. The lady didnt even say hello she kept her head down and said sign in. I told her this was my first time here and she said give me the paper work sent to you in the mail. While she was looking at my paper work making sure I filled it out right she was on her cell phone I guess talking to a friend asking what she was doing tonight because she wants to go out. My appointment was at 1130am I got there at 1045am. I didnt see or speak to a doctor until 345pm. Ugh....they charge you if you miss a appointment but I feel if your on time to your appointment and they have you spend hours waiting I should get compensated or receive a discount on services. When I finally saw a doctor after hours of waiting all he did was make an appointment for me to come back for a procedure I wanted done. When I made the appointment 30 days prior I told them what I wanted. The procedure is simple and not invasive and only takes about 30 mintues. any other doctor would have had me come in and done the procedure so why did I wait hours just to make another appointment. I had this procedure done before and In the past all i had to do is tell them what i wanted and they made an appointment for it to be done. Smh. Then on top of that they wanted me to drive across town to another location to have the procedure done. All the negative reviews are right. This place is unorganized and unprofessional there are plenty of other doctors offices in Memphis word of advice go to any other place beside this one.

If your sending a patient fir xrays to a local Hospital they should have an address and paperwork. I called the morning prior and was told the address is on the corner of Union and Bellvue really? Thats an address.

The best people evernice kind and the dr knows exactly what hes talking about through attempt to find out whats wrong he knewhighly recommend awesome staff as well so kind.

Absolutely horrible patient service. Would give 0 stars if able.First off when I switched pharmacies where I was picking up my prescriptions of my Ulcerative Colitis medicine my doctor denied my refill.Secondly when I attempted to call MULTIPLE DAYS IN A ROW to find out why my prescription refil was deboned I was met with 0 response. Several times when I called I waited on hold for 20+ minutes only to eventually be connected with an office associate who fumbled with their desk phone and hung up on me. When I eventually did get to SPEAK to someone I was told that I would be called back shortly to speak with a nursedoctor. Over an hour later that was not the case.I would not recommend Gastro One to anyone I know. It is clearly a disorganized facility that doesn’t seem to care about or for their patients.
