First, I will say Dr. Bodie has a great personality. If that were the only important aspect, I would have stayed with him. My regular doctor of 20 years retired and I was assigned to Dr. Bodie. I went in for my regular BW (Aug) and thyroid meds were adjusted. In May, I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Bodie because I wasn't feeling right. After BW, he let me know I was in kidney failure and diabetic; however, after getting a second opinion, it was discovered that I was severely dehydrated due to one of the meds I was taking (and because I don't drink enough water). I called Dr. Bodie's office and left a msg but did not receive a call back. Two weeks later, I decided I needed to change doctors so I called another doctor in the practice. When that nurse called me back, she told me I would have to talk to Dr. Bodie. Of course, this upset me as I wanted to change doctors. I told her to have Dr. Bodie's nurse call me. Again, no call. A week later, I called again and left a message for Dr. Bodie's nurse to call me. I couple of hours later my phone rang - 2 times. I didn't have time to get from the kitchen to the den. I waited thinking she would call back, send a text, or send an email - nothing. Today, I sent a message through the practices patient portal. The nurse called back within 15 minutes. She informed me that I should have come back in after 6 weeks since my meds had changed and that's why I didn't get a years worth of thyroid meds. When I asked why wasn't I told this, she said, "It's how we do it." When I asked why it wasn't updated on my May visit, she didn't have an answer. She simply went over the meds she had called in... Then she went on to tell me that she knew I had called another doctor in the practice because her nurse told her. I told her I did call another doctor and the nurse told me I had to talk to you. I told her again that I had called several times with no response and she said, "The voicemail option on your phone was not available". Well, I'm calling BS on that one! It seems to me that this nurse was only covering her butt. Maybe this one star rating is for Dr. Bodie's nurse... I don't know if he misdiagnosed, failed to communicate, failure on the nurses part (that one was obvious from the phone call issues!) or some other reason. His nurse definitely wanted EVERYTHING to be my fault! This was a sever wrong diagnosis and for the nurse to take at least a month to call me back is NOT acceptable! This is the 1st time I've had a bad experience with a doctor/nurse. I will let him/her experiment and learn on someone else.

His nurse is HORRIBLE! He has a good bedside manner but is VERY young so I'm thinking he just doesn't have the experience my thyroid and older self needs.

Dr. Bodie is very personable and easy to talk to.

Dr. Bodie is excellent. He listens, gives suggestions, and discusses the options. My wife and I leave his office feeling positive and uplifted. He clearly cares!

Very friendly, didn't keep me waiting an hour and a half, like the doc the day before, and was very helpful!

Dr Bodie took great care of me in this hospital follow up . We discussed the various issues that I am facing and noted the things that we will be doing to remedy these issues . Dr Bodie took time with me and he made me feel like I was his only concern , and he greatly encouraged me in my health strategy plans . He is a very caring doctor and he is very down to earth and he relates to my problems , I am blessed to have him as my primary care doctor .

He is the best! He cares, listens, doesn’t give up. He keeps trying to find out what the problem is. I trust him.

He's the best! Very kind and detailed. We've been on a long journey with my illness. He was always there to explain things so you understand what is going on with your body. Make an appt! You will be so happy.

Dr. Bodie went over every detail I was concerned with and had remarkable bed side manner. Came up with a great treatment plan and explained everything I needed to know where I could understand it. It was a great visit!
