Dr. Sumrall saved my life. After noticing a small lesion on my lung scan, he started doing CT scans on me every three months. After about a yr. he got a biopsy after it started getting larger...it had turned cancerous. Thanks to him, chemo, and radiation, I'm still here and relatively free of this nasty disease. I owe my life to this man who kept such a close eye on me. So close, that if they'll accept us, we plan on making the trip to Daphne from Mobile, just to see him as our Dr. again...

I don’t understand the negative reviews. Dr. Sumrall was kind, patient, thorough and attentive. I am so pleased to have found a doctor who is determined to get to the root of my problems. I highly recommend him.

Terrible. Has absolutely no bedside manner. He seems to have no compassion for his patients. He treats his staff bad as well. I would not recommend.

Dr. Sumerall provided care for my brother while in ICU at Springhill Medical Center June 14 thru his death in June 23, 2020. In communicating with him on a regular basis, I found him to be insensitive, arrogant, self righteous, inability to anticipate emergencies, intolerant, judgemental, negligent with a profound lack of cultural diversity and respect for individual differences. I hold him personally responsible for my brother's death due to both his blatant delay in providing essential healthcare as well as withholding lifesaving medical care to my brother.

I had the privilege to meet Dr Sumrall when he took over my Dads care. He is a doctor I would let treat me or any of my family. If you want a doctor to sugar coat to prognosis and give you false hope..He is not the doctor for you. We greatly appreciated his direct approach and we took comfort in knowing his past story and what led him to being very forward soeaking in the treatment of our Dad, husband, grandfather and great grandad. Thank you and please don't let bad reviews give you a preconceived opinion like it did myself.

I had a wonderful pulmonologist and then an insurance change.... Ugg!! For 7 months, I have been battling a lung disorder. My primary Dr of 15 years, an "internal medicine" Dr, and the Emergency Room, where I have been admitted and my former pulmonologist all came to the same independent conclusion regarding my condition. Saw this Dr "Summerall" once, he told me it was nothing but a virus and would just go away on its own.. If you want to pay for a random opinion from someone that doesn't even want to know any medical history, then you have to find a Doctor that CARES, if you like wasting your time and money, this is the guy for you.
