I love Children’s Medical Group. I do not care for Dr. Catherine Huettemann. Her attitude is horrible. She acts as if she doesn’t want to be there. She has the worst attitude. Horrible, especially when all of the other staff is so friendly. Working with children, you would think she would be more friendly.

Shows true compassion for her patients. I will never forget hearing Dr. Kathy frantically calling the hospitals over and over trying to get my baby in ASAP because of high jaundice numbers. She cares about her children! Thank you

Thanks Dr. Huettemann ! Since we moved to Mobile we visited Dr. Huettemann or Dr. Cathy (as my daughter calls her). This doctor always listens to my daughter, she explains every procedure and I have always received an excellent service.

I have never met a pediatrician less suited for daring for children (or human beings in general) than Catherine Huetteman. I took my newborn in today for a checkup with our regular pediatrician. When I got to the office and was checking in, he spit up and started gagging and choking on it. I pulled him out of the car seat and tilted him forward and patted his back but he was still struggling and choking. I asked if they had a bulb syringe so I could suction it and one girl went to find one. The other girl was getting concerned along with me so she told me to come on and we would find a doctor to make sure he was ok. The first station we came to was Dr. Huetteman. I waited for several seconds before she acknowledged my presence at all, the whole time I was patting his back and he's audibly gagging. Finally she looked up and said "Are you supposed to be in a room or something?" in a very annoyed tone. I told her what was going on and asked if she had something I could suction him with. Without answering my question, and from 5 feet away without ever stepping any closer to us, she said "Well he looks pink to me," and turned away from us, completely disregarding me. Thankfully about that time he finally got it up and was able to breathe normally again but her complete lack of regard for the entire situation was shocking.

I love Dr. Huetteman, I've used her for all my kids. My oldest is 18yrs and youngest is 3yrs. Very knowledgeable and trust worthy. Staff is amazing, office always tidy. Scheduling is never a problem with sick appointments.
