I saw seven different gastroenterologist before I went to Dr Johnson. His wife, Dana, is the most amazing person. She will listen and she explains things in a very simple way. She always draws me up a plan and it's very easy to understand. She diagnosed me with a disorder that no other doctors have even considered. Dr Johnson and Dana have been miracle workers for me.

Yes, Dr. Johnson is great. However, PA Thompson is not needed. MA did better interview. Also, Thompson wrote a prescription I don’t need as I am taking similar medication that works well. He obviously didn’t look at my drug list. And, somebody did not look at the pages I had to fill out. I listed a new pharmacy. Drug was sent to previous pharmacy

I really think Dr Johnson is wonderful He did my colonoscopy last year However trying to get into office to see him with a problem is almost impossible Called several times nurses would not call back Finally got a call over a week later Not sure what the issue is but thankful for my primary doctor that helped me When a person needs to see a doctor the least they can do is call back !!

Dr. Johnson is responsible for rupturing my mothers spleen during a routine colonoscopy. She could have died. His staff laughed at her and he made her feel like she was at fault. I would not recommend this doctor at all.

Dr. Johnson worked me in from the ER after my physician couldn’t get me an appointment until 5 months later. He saw me that day, LOVE his bedside manner! He makes sure whatever testing he needs to do can be done in one day so that I don’t have to make more than one trip. That’s awesome considering I live 2 hours away. The only problem I had was with his receptionist. She was rude when she found out I was a walk in and not on the schedule and he had not told her I was coming.

Never in my life have I had to leave a message and wait 5 hours for a call back just to make an appointment. The day after I had an appointment a prescription that was supposed to be called in wasn't and I called and left a message and after 8 hours I still haven't received a call back. This rating is about his staff and the non existent communication. There are other doctors around here.

Dr. Johnson takes his time with you and really seems to care about improving your condition. Very kind and asks and answers your questions. He doesn’t go over test results as well as his NPs, though.
