We had our first appointment with Dr. Wood and we absolutely love her! She is so kind, compassionate, and the way she interacts with your child lets you know she truly cares for them. She asked questions, and was very thorough. She asked me if I had any questions or concerns. She was in no hurry and it didn’t feel like my daughter was just another patient on her books. She made us feel comfortable and I can’t brag on her enough! Also, super happy with the office staff, they were all super friendly! Highly recommend using Dr. Wood! My 4 year old daughter is ready to go back to and talk to her ❤️🙂
Dr. Todd at CMG is an incredible pediatrician and we feel blessed to have her as my son’s doctor. My son has Autism so he can find connecting with people difficult and unfamiliar environments can be scary to him. However, all the staff, nurses, and Dr. Todd has always made him feel so comfortable and secure. Dr. Todd answers all of our questions and truly cares about my son’s health and development. She, as well as the nurses, is patient with my son and makes the check-ups fun. We recommend this group to anyone looking for a pediatrician!
Cannot say enough about our experience at CMG. Dr. Cepeda is 110% made to be a pediatrician! He handles every patient like they’re the only one and takes the time to answer my 500 questions (at every visit). In the times we’ve had to see other pediatricians (Dr. Adair & Dr. Browning) they have also been incredibly kind and helpful! Front office staff is also so pleasant! Ms. Shanice is a gem. Love CMG and choose it without a second thought for my kids.
If you are in the market for the best pediatrician, I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Matthew Cepeda!! He promised Maisyn at her 5 year old check up that when she come to her 6 year old check up, he would take her outside to let her pet the turtles and she has not forgot and every visit waited on this and she didn’t even remind him. He walked right in and said I’ve got a surprise for you and fulfilled his promise.
We love Dr. Holmes! He has always listened to my questions and concerns and truly cares about the well-being of his patients. He was proactive in sending my son to the ENT for a consult to get tubes. Can’t recommend Dr. Holmes enough!
Thank you so much Dr. Cathy Huettemann for being so supportive, practical, and overall amazing! My daughter was really sick since Wednesday and even though I saw other doctors (urgent care), you were the one who found and helped my little one! I wish there were more doctors like you!! You take action and solve the issues! We are very grateful!
Dr. Holmes is the best doctor! He is extremely patient, kind, down to earth, and explains what’s going on with your child. I would recommend him 100 percent for pediatric care.
We see Dr. Ashton Todd and she is wonderful! Always listens and addresses our concerns. She never rushed through our appointment and we never have to wait long. We recently needed a follow up because I was concerned and had a few questions and they were able to get us in the very same day. They always answer the phone and I never have to leave a voicemail. They’re always available when I need them.
Only for kids who are well. If need an appointment before well visit is due won’t be seen. Only cares about how much money can be billed. Patient care does not matter.
Never thought I would be saying this. Over 30 years of being a patient here and I have never experience nothing like this. On Sunday 9/3/2023 my son got ill. My son had glossy eyes, he couldn't stay woke and as a first time momma I was very concerned. I called the doctor's office because I was out near them to let them know the situation. Of course I was panicking and upset. I advised the office staff what was going on and that I was near them. The office staff did not seem concerned. They told me that they would have the nurse to call me back whenever. I called back hoping to get someone else, same response. I advised that I feel safe to come there to just let a nurse or someone lay eyes on my son due to we were close and my son needed help. When I got there, I was very calm and the staff advised that the nurse will be with me that I can wait. I was yes mam and kindly waited on the nurse. I was not rude or belligerent. Matter of fact the front staff was smiling and talking to me. When the nurse came out, she automatically said oh your son has a stomach bug because that it what was going around. She said that he can see the doctor if he would like but she is just going to tell you the same thing. That means she gave me an option to see the doctor. Not one time she said go to the ER in which I was trying to avoid at all cost because of covid. My response to her was I am not trying to question you, however if I could, I would love to get him checked out to make sure that is what was going on with my son. She said that it was my choice. I then advised my husband that I would love to have him checked because if anything happens to him at home I will not be happy. I believe any parent would understand that. So they signed us in and advised that there was a balance that I needed to pay before them seeing my son. I advised them that I will be willing to pay and gave them $60 leaving a small remaining balance. I was desperate to make sure my son was ok. Taking my bill money to pay in an emergency situation. So we waited liked they asked us too. Now mind you, they said it was going to be a long wait, however, we got back fairly quickly. On the way back, the nurse admitted and said he does look like he not feeling well. Dr. Todd came in the room. Mind you her beside manners were horrible. She took a look at my son briefly and with a snotty attitude said mom I would like talk to you about the practice. She told me that I was disrespectful to come into the practice. I was flabbergasted. I remain calm and advised that I have been with this practice for over 30 years and I was never disrespectful. I tried to explain to her that I was in need of help due to how my son was acting and my location. Dr. Todd would not even let me complete my statement to get an understanding. I tried to advise her that it was never my intent and she stated "Well how would you like someone coming up to your job." I was really upset at this point but I remained calm. She has no idea what I do and what I would do. Secondly, this is my son's doctor office in whom I trusted with his care. At this point, she forgot all about my son, he was crying on the table because of how he was feeling. So respectfully, I said mam, I am just trying to get my son taken care of. So be told the nurse to give him zofran and some other medicine. I dont know how they gave it to him, but he started vomiting quite badly. He vomited over my husband's shoe, floor, and etc. At this point I was desperately trying to to clean up mess and hurry up and get my son out of there. I felt like we were such a burden to them and my son's throwing up made it worse. On the way out I asked was she going to document what happened and she told me yes. Well on Tuesday 9/5/2023 (after labor day) I called and asked to speak with his doctor. The office manager I think her name is Joann came on the phone and said I was just about to call you. She said that the nurse said I was rude and call her unprofessional (never happened). So they lied on my son's chart. She told me that Dr. Little told her if I was not happy with them to let me go. I expressed to her that my son loves Dr. Little and that was not the case. I tried explaining to her that I was never rude and that it was quite the opposite. She said do you remember me? We talk about insurance before. It was almost like she had a personal vendetta against me. I was not comfortable at all. She advised that she was going to talk to Dr. Todd and Dr. Little and give me a call back. Well in between that time, my son took ill again. He didnt go to school and my husband said we had to get him back to the doctor. Well due to the office manager's actions and the nurse lying, my son could not be seen. Mind you, I am still waiting on Dr. Little to at least call me, he fail to do so. I call back crying and advised that my son is sick and she advised that the nurse was going to call me back. Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
