Dr Kirby took all the time I needed to explain my diagnosis. I recommend him highly.
After being under the care of a Dr. that misdiagnosed me for years, Dr. Kirby not only got me on the right medications but fixed my irregular heart rhythm. I would recommend him to all.
Quite a bit of confusion but only with the Hospital. Dr. Kirby's office quickly fixed the hospitals mistakes. We have finally found a trusted home for cardiac care.
Very aggressive in seeking answers. Has a great manner and seems very genuine about any questions asked. I leave every appointment with a sigh of relief and that's something I never experienced with my other doctors.
On 5-12-2020 at 10:30 pm, Dr. Kirby came to see me in intensive care at Springhill Medical Center. Earlier in the day, I had a TAVR but my heart rate became unstable in recovery and required immediate attention. Dr. Kirby's first words were "Are you ready for a pacemaker?" Within one hour, Dr. Kirby had assembled a team and I had a pacemaker. My heart rate and vital signs stabilized completely. His quick action gave me new life and I was released from the hospital the following day. Dr. Kirby is an outstanding cardiac electrophysiologist. He acted in record time to install my pacemaker. He has my highest recommendation and I would seek him out for further care if needed.
Excellent and compassionate EP. He was very patient and listened to my concerns as a new patient and very thorough with ordering tests to effectively determine my treatment plan for A-Fib. He made me feel at ease and very comfortable during my evaluation. Will definitely use him as my new EP from now on!
My doctor sent me for one thing and he wound up doing a lot of other things I don't think I needed.
As I was to have pacemaker placed I could here what they talking about in the procedure. And they didn’t tell me I need be on bed rest so I got up an went to bathroom and walk around. As I went home I had one of my leads to come a lose. So I had another hospital visit to fix this. When the procedure was to get underway I could feel him cut my chest. And I told him I could feel him cut my skin. He said “ it was local anesthetize.” I knew this was a mistake cause I know that usually it’s a stick and a sting. This was like some one stabbed me in my chest the pain after the procedure was extremely painful from the first!
After many years of going to doctors in my life. I have never been treated so cold and unconcerning. Have always been delighted with this Cardiologist group but hurt and sad how Dr. Kirby treated my family after the operation was completed. Hope that no one ever is treated in the manner we were. If you cannot ask a question after a large concern after the operation then it makes you think you have something to hide. Having talent does not make you GOD! Wishing you well but maybe show some kindness it comes back to you.
Cannot rate him poor enough in bedside manner. Total lack of compassion for his patients.

All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
