List of Diagnostic & Medical Clinic's Reviews
The past 2 years when I try to schedule an appointment with this office I have been left on hold for over 20 minutes. When I finally get a receptionist, I tell them the only off days I have which is one Wednesday a month to schedule my appointment. The doctor I have seen only once at this practice is never available so I request to be seen by any other endocrinologist that is available on my off day since I have no real ties to any certain doctor. The receptionist refuses to give me an appointment with another physician. I am a doctor myself and my office would never treat patients this way. If one doctor is not available, we happily offer the patient an appointment with an available physician. The receptionists are not helpful and unwilling to accommodate. I will never use this office again nor would I recommend it to anyone based on poor receptionist service. This office also would not accept my blood work that was done at another location in order to refill my thyroid medicine. I never give a bad review to any business but this is definitely warranted.
I’m an RN and have been a patient of Dr Gamard’s since 2006. Dr Gamard literally saved my life back in 2006. He’s extremely competent, thorough, caring, and has a wonderful bedside manner. As an RN, I hesitate to recommend just one physician, however, when someone asks me to recommend a good Internal Medicine physician, I immediately suggest Dr Gamard. Not only did Dr Gamard save my life in 2006, he gave me back my mobility without using opioids...something an orthopedist couldn’t do. As an RN, I’m picky about where my physicians attend school and do their residency...Dr Gamard has excellent credentials. One negative...Dr Gamard is so good and popular, it’s difficult to become a new patient, but keep trying. BTW: we moved from Mobile to Denver for 6 yrs. I traveled every year back to Mobile to get my annual checkup with Dr Gamard. Health care in Denver was horrible. Thank you to Dr Gamard and his staff.
We have used Diagnostic Medical for close to 30 years. Dr. Jacob Webster is our primary care physician. You won’t find anyone better! He also took excellent care of my Mom, so compassionate. Drs. Lerner and Gewin are also our physicians, when their specialties are needed. An excellent group in every way!
All of my Doctors are located here
I love Dr j Webster..and nurse Lucy is the best
Michelle at Dr. Patricia Burch's office is the BEST nurse. Has always treated me with respect, answers ALL of my questions, returns ALL of my calls. Goes above and beyond her responsibilities. She is also very knowledgeable in the field of medicine. I am in the best hands that anyone can be in Mobile, Alabama! Thank You!
i had a great doc, i will only mention his initials: J M. For maybe over 5 years he had been my primary, gave me the best diagnostic i had gotten w/o doing a single test. then hell hit the fan, one doctor retired, one doc quit, instead of hiring more docs imdc decided to spread the loose sheep across the board. the care went to sh*t.i finally got in the cross hairs when i needed my doc the most, i had already been sent to PM. i was being gutted and on the verge of ... you know what.i wanted to alleviate at least one symptom, even though he had told me it was a remedial remedy, at most ... one year, it was worth it. i got referred to a GI one floor up-above him. the A, didn't even know who referred me, did a redundant endoscopy, i asked for some relief as it left my throat raw ... his response, "i'm not giving you any pain killers!" ... not even oral Lidocaine?in all, my experience is an over worked staff and a total lack of communication.if you still choose to go there, i would advise seeing Dr. J. Miller. and go to Mobile Infirmary. references, well, i've fired them before.
For a few months they’ve been Taking way to long to answer simple questions over the phone, especially refills. They keep Screwing with my meds that I’ve been on for years. I’m hurt and disappointed. I’m crying and I’m really angry about being treated like garbage after my insurance and myself have helped so many of these employees here earn their salary. Each patient is part of your paycheck. Respect goes both ways.
Lacey in iv services is wonderful!
dr. bobby wrights is friendly but i dont think he is competent...my husband was under his care for close to a year for a wound caused by orthopedic dr, rachel...who is a horror...on mike's last visit with dr wrights..he pointed out to dr. w. that his pinkie had shrunk...the one that he was under care for..dr. w. looked at it but not closely...didn't say anything...with his trail of students behind him...a couple of weeks later mike wasin mi and they drew some blood and found out that mikes shrunken finger was caused by mrsa...it had dissolved the bone in his finger...the finger was amputated...i believe that this was one of the causes to cause mike's eventual death...i found out from his autopsy report that he had 2 bone marrow embolisms possibly from the finger dissolving...and ground glass marrow and fragments too in his lungs...sadly dr w was mikes primary too,,,i found out that this doctor knew that mike had an abnormal liver test and never told us anything...he helped to kill my husband...he was my primary too...he misdiagnosed my skin cancer as a fungal infection...i didn't believe it so i went to a dermatologist dr bender who told me it was a precancerous squamous cell...i had mol surgery to remove it...i now have a new primary...dr wrights is friendly but he is dangerously incompetent...other doctors who are incompetent at this facility are gamard...reese and franklin...

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
