Druhan Howell's Online Review Report Card

I waited in the exam room for 30 minutes. (They have timers by the doors but it didn’t go off.) It was upsetting because the walls are thin and she wasn’t with a patient. She was talking about clothes to another staff member. Then she had no answers for my allergic reactions. The office is very automized as far as computer stuff. Billing, getting paid etc. but the actual care sucks. I think she’s only in this for the money.

Put my baby boy he’s 4 now through the skin allergies test twice. Wanted blood work after I had caught her twice confusing my son with another patient or just not reading his chart. First and foremost I thank God for Drs. That do seek to help children. I think Dr. Howell may need a little more time? My son suffered until I not any Dr. finally went “granola”. I mean this with love and true respect to all parents if you or your child is suffering please look into their/your foods. We aren’t meant to survive off synthetic ingredients. And my son has an allergic reaction to synthetic vitamin b1. I started seeing a professional of another kind after the last visit with Howell had her suggest my son stop taking vitamins and probiotics. He’s taking more now and for good reason. He’s finally healing. Avoid this place if you’re suffering from dermatitis or topical allergies that don’t heal once you take her advice. Eliminate processed foods. Honestly everyone is different so she may help you? Bless you I pray God guides you. If you’re really wanting to heal though often our insides are where we should focus.

The entire staff was friendly and professional to include the front desk personnel, lab, asthma and allergy test clinicians and Dr. Howell's nurse. The moved quickly from one encounter to the next. Everyone did a great job explaining what I should expect. Dr. Howell was has a great personality. She was very friendly and welcoming. She did a great job answering all of my questions and detailing my medical condition and test results. I was very thankful and impressed.

If we followed Dr. Howell's advice for our child then our child would be dead. Seriously. At the time she was in another practice and it is apparent that she was just trying to get to a different one. She never cared about our child's allergies. We had to see many other doctors to get the care our child needed.

Dr.Howell is a nice at her Job and treating her patient and giving them what they need

She was very short and did the minimal. The nurses were very kind, but the doctor was not. Was not worth the drive and will not return.

I will not be back for allergy tests with this M.D. I went in for a full battery of tests and received an abbreviated test. Then was told that we do not test for a printed list 2 to 3 inches single spaced which included peanut butter, corn, etc. EXCUSE ME! I CAME IN FOR A FULL BATTERY OF TESTS TO DETERMINE MY SENSITIVITIES. Somehow this physician's logic or lack thereof escapes me and I would be better off with another allergy doctor since I am still sneezing and breaking out in rashes.

Such a blessing to find such a great immunologist in Mobile for my daughter. Diagnosed her with an Immunoglobulin Deficiency (IgA) and follows up annually to monitor her status and to make sure other Immunoglobulin levels are adequate. Makes sure to explain things clearly so that my daughter also understands her condition. Also follows my daughter for contact allergic dermatitis and other issues that have developed. We live on the MS Gulf Coast a,nd Dr. Howell is certainly worth the drive for the best care.

Very sweet lady. Her staff is amazing too. My three year felt very comfortable with them.

Dr Howell spent a good amount of time with my one year old daughter and me. She didn't disregard what I said, and really listened to my concerns. She also communicated her findings with my pediatrician and pediatric gi to help us resolve some of my child's problems. Allergies were not her primary issue, but she helped rule things out. The office isn't anything fancy, but I'll take a competent doctor over swanky surroundings any day.
