Well, I’ve been dealing with heal/foot pain for 5 years seeing the other main ortho clinic in Mobile. Long story short, surgery came up and I decided to get second opinion. My mother in law, long time nurse at infirmary highly recommended Gulf Coast Ortho. So I schedule appt with Dr Grant Shell. I’ve only had one visit but it went very well. First time in 5 years, I’m getting an mri and nerve test done. Dr Shell said “I need a lot more information before we discuss surgery.” I had wondered why previous drs never would do a basic mri to make sure there was nothing they were missing. So I’m very excited about this and I must say Dr Shell gave me an RX that has actually given me some relief. First time in a long time that my heel/foot hasn’t hurt super bad. I’m excited and optimistic and will update post later. But for now 5 stars from me. Also Dr Grants Nurse Practitioner Rylle was super nice as well! I’m glad I made the swap!

Dr Shell and his PA were very nice and knowledgeable. I was able and to get an appt the same day and didn’t have to wait once I was there. I didn’t feel rushed.

Dr Shell operated on my foot when I broke it he is the best Doctor I've ever had he's kind he tells you like it is he takes time to explain everything to you I highly recommend this doctor

Everyone was very nice!! And very quick.The doctor was awesome went in for 2 very painful elbows he gave me 2 injections one in each elbow and omg it already feels amazing 👏 p.s shot hurt just a little but well worth it!

Dr. Shell is extremely personable and professional. Appointments are never rushed and he takes time to explain the details of my injury and the parts of my ankle that are affected. He is making sure to explore all conservative options before considering surgery. As well as taking my lifestyle and activity level into consideration when weighing options and best outcomes.

Overall best ortho doctor whom is well groomed in his profession his love and compassion he has for his patients is above and beyond amazing along with his staff that makes sure all is treated with love and kindness.
