List of J. Nicholas Rachel's Reviews
Office staff was very polite and helpful. Dr. Rachel was polite and explained my diagnosis clearly as well as the treatment required. He was gentle while performing the treatment. Praying the treatment works and surgery want be necessary.
Thank you for seeing me today. Was glad to finally have a Dr that would listen to me an help me. You were straight forward an upfront about my issue. Thank you. Let's hope this works.
Dr. Rachel's nurse was very kind and professional, and I'm very pleased with Dr. Rachel's personality, and his care.
I have been in and out of hospitals, clinics, and doctor's office for 47.5 years, several of them in the same practice as Dr. Rachel. Not since I was a very young child have I had such wonderful care by a physician.Dr. Rachel always has time to LISTEN and that is so important when your body has been through so much that your mind can't keep up with all the procedures, protocols, and prognoses...then he informs of the options available, and recommends treatment agreed on by us, the patients.Five stars is not nearly high enough to rate him for the level of care he provides! I'd give him 100!
Dr Rachael did carpal tunnel surgery on both my hands/wrists…but this was a last resort. When I originally went in and described my issues he started with X-ray to rule out anything else but quickly decided I was the poster child for carpal tunnel. He thoroughly explained what was wrong and options moving forward. He explained to me that trying shots in my wrists could work long term or may not but before surgery we should try that. Worked great but the effect from the shots didn’t last on me so we decided (eventually) on surgery. Dr Rachael explained everything thoroughly. Told me what to expect. We did the first wrist. It was a miracle! Now I’ve had the second wrist done and so happy with the results. I would highly recommend this doctor.
Dr. Rachel thoroughly explained the procedure that is needed to correct my trigger finger. I have confidence in the process.
The staff were very nice. I have had problems with my hand since day one of the surgery. I never see the doctor, only nurses and wait almost an hour after my appointment to see them. I am NOT impressed with this place.
The best truthful Dr. Ever. I highly recommend Dr. Rachel.
Very thorough and explained everything to me. The best ortho I have been to.
I was referred to Dr. Rachel by a local Urgent Care facility after injuring my left hand. The physician at the facility was not able to diagnose a fracture, so he sent me to the specialist at the Orthopaedic Group. I was extremely pleased, as one of their knee guys put my leg back together 9 years ago, and they do a stellar job. Dr. Rachel diagnosed the fracture immediately, illustrated it on the x-ray, explained the procedure, and had me scheduled for surgery within 10 minutes. He answered all my questions, and took care of everything from the get go. These guys are good. I have nothing but positive reports about my experiences with the Group, and Dr. Rachel specifically.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
