Went in today due to an injury. Dr. West was Extremely condescending, impatient with me, and very unprofessional. He kept trying to walk out and was very rushed. When I tried to ask questions about my treatment plan, he seemed annoyed and began to minimize my injuries & tell me about the guy in the next room to me who had spinal cancer and was worse off than me…smh. Unethical in my opinion!!! He is knowledgeable obviously, but it seems that Dr. West does not like to be questioned in any way about anything and has 0 bedside manner. Apparently I’m not the only one because another patient this morning kicked him out of her room, refused to deal with him AT ALL or allow him to touch her!!!!! This was my experience today in my 5 minutes with Dr. West. DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

Dr. West is absolutely amazing. I have been to two other “Orthopedic Specialists” and they told me that I needed days of surgery and that I had Scoliosis!Dr. West had me do a current MRI and then told me the exact spot in my spine where my problem lie. His incredible anesthesiologist named Dr. Walsh did an epidural in the spot that he found and I have felt so much better since.I went in to see Dr. West today and he said he is going to do a two level surgery, which means that I will either be out of the hospital that day or just stay overnight.Dr. West is amazing!!

I saw Dr West for the first time yesterday. I’ve been in 2 car wrecks within 2 months. 1 was a hit and run. 1 had 4 broken ribs and a bruised heart. I saw him for my neck and back and was a little apprehensive after reading mixed reviews. He was very caring and kind and listened. He came up with a treatment plan that he included my input with. He was very knowledgeable as well. I am so glad that I saw him!! He is very direct and straight to the point which is just what I needed!!

Dr. West and staff are very informative and understanding of a patients situation. He explained in detail what approach and subsequent treatment he would take to help with the problem and pain I have from it. He listened to my concerns and answered questions I had regarding treatment. I feel very good with every aspect of the group.

I love Dr West. He tried everything he could to keep me from having surgery but I ended up having surgery. He believed me even though my MRI was saying something else. He was very caring. He answered all of my questions. I couldn’t have asked for anything better.

Dr West is always clear with his post-op instructions and concerned about how I feel. He takes the time to listen to me and show me my x-rays and explain to me what I’m looking at.
