Dr. Lawrence and his long term staff are the best. I drive an hour to see him. He is extremely thorough and really does a deep dive to find the root of your problem. I highly recommend if you want to be treated by the best that you see him.

Best Dr I've ever had

Thorough and fun Doctor I drive an hour to come to see this Doctor. He is very busy, BUT! He’s incredibly smart, knows his stuff, I enjoy talking with him. He brightens my day and has gotten me many answers and treatments. It’s been a long process but worth it. Love the staff and I think they are the best!

Love Dr. Lawrence he takes his time out to explain everything to you.

Great doctor Have seen him twice now and he knows what he is talking about. Very kind and communicative and was easy to talk to. Very relaxed atmosphere , the whole office is great and sympathetic. I get the impression he likes a challenge with this nasty disease RA and wont stop until he figures out what it responds to.

Dr. Lawrence is great although he talks a little too much and that distracts me from getting all the information I need. He is very polite and extremely knowledgeable. HE knew just by looking at me / my joints how bad my RA is. I don't care for his front office staff or the other FPC staff that answer the main phones at all. As a result I will be seeking care elsewhere. As much as I liked him, I won't continue to have to speak to such rude uncaring people.

Dr. Lawrence is THE BEST! I have struggled for years with RA until I was FINALLY referred to him as a result of blood test results showing my RA Factor number was over 1000!! (Normal would've been between 14-21.) He has discovered findings that other Drs should've found out a long time ago. He is a compassionate, caring Dr. He's VERY knowledgeable of his profession and, digs deep to make sure he and, you are on the right track to a perfect regimen for your condition. I WILL NOT go to another Rheumatologist after being his patient. If you are searching for a great RA Dr, you simply HAVE TO go see him first. I absolutely LOVE this Dr. ?? Ms. Atwood

This doctor prescribed me 2 medications that I cannot take due to serious side effects. I doubt he really looked at my previous medical history. He doesn’t tell you what he’s prescribing until after he’s left the exam room. When the nurse comes in with a prescription and I tell her that I can’t take that medication, I am told I’ll have to wait until the next visit which is always 3 months out. This happened twice and wasted 6 months of my time. He was zero help in 18 months. He likes to talk a lot during appointments and not actually treat you. His office never returns urgent calls, even when the patient is admitted to the hospital. My Lupus has gotten way worse and I blame Dr Lawrence. I literally have gotten nowhere in 18 months of seeing him. The last straw was when he prescribed me a medication that made me vomit blood and pass blood in my stool. It was so bad that this medication is actually listed on my allergy list. HE IS A TERRIBLE DOCTOR!

I have had RA for almost 3 years now. It began with severe pain in my elbows, wrists, knees and ankles. Not knowing my condition, I went to the ER, but could not be diagnosed. I lost my job trying to work @ Stein Mart, in pain, taking Ibuprofen. It was NOT diagnosed by ANY other doctor until I saw "The Dynamic" Dr. James Lawrence, recommended by Nurse Jonnie Parks (Franklin Health). Within hours of beginning the medication he prescribed me, I have not had a single pain in my body. The honest truth. The man will go to great lengths to find a solution to your condition. He's a great asset to the Medical community at large.

Doctor Lawrence has been my rheumatologist for the last 5 years, very, very good doctor, I recommend him highly.
