Please if you don't want to be humiliated, don't go to this dr. I went in for concerns about my thyroid and the swelling. I have a goiter an enlarged thyroid, she automatically said its because I'm fat and I need to lose weight. She ignored all of my symptoms. She was really rude. Shes good at body shaming, she also got really personal about my sexuel health, asking me if I wasn't on birth control then what was I doing? I didn't come for an ob appointment. Please just save your money and time and go to someone else.
Very detailed explanation. Took time to ensure my complete understanding.
I love Dr.Bhathal she’s been my Endocrinologist for about 3 yrs and she knows her stuff, very friendly and listens to how you feel . I’m thankful I was referred to her she Is the best I will recommend her 100%.
I’m giving this visit a 3 because Dr. Bhathal seems to mean well. But she doesn’t give the warm, inviting feeling when you meet her. Some people in the medical field give that feeling of it being a safe zone but I didn’t feel that way. It just felt like an awkward interview that wasn’t going well. Before my appointment I had seen the reviews. But I wanted to give her the benefit of doubt and keep an open mind.I felt a little judged in all honesty especially when talking about food. I don’t eat a lot of fast food and typically eat a home. But she kinda made it seem like I just eat anything even though she did say I don’t know what you eat. Which I don’t eat a lot fast food and sometimes I barely eat at all. I don’t eat a lot of fried food either because I had my gallbladder removed. I walk and do my indoor workouts. I try so hard to lose weight but it is difficult because of my PCOS.I wanted guidance and reassurance. Which in a sense I assumed i received. Even with a tiny bit of small talk and somethings that were said that was funny. I laughed and she just looked at me as if she was annoyed? Or not interested? Not for sure about the emotion…I felt uncomfortable and also I kinda teared up in the office. I didn’t cry but I felt the tears there and it honestly hurt a lot. I was the one that chose her as my endocrinologist because I thought she would be a good choice. Maybe I was wrong…I typically like to build a good relationship with my doctors. But I don’t know if that would be the case here. I will always be civil and respectful. I will say that her nurses were extremely sweet.
Office staff and nurses were helpful and friendly! I give them 5 stars!Dr. Bhathal on the other hand, the extreme opposite. I was VERY disappointed with my visit. She has a very high opinion of herself and seemed to look down on me because of my diabetes, even though I have it under control. She also wasn't very thorough. I had to ask for an A1C and to have my sugar checked. I recieve much better care for my diabetes from my primary care physician. This was a complete waste of my time and money. Will NOT be going back to or recommending Dr. Bhathal!!
A very LGBTQ+ friendly doctor. Dr Bhathal and her nurse are always so kind and listen to my needs as a trans individual. They also are aware and understanding of the current struggles gender diverse folks deal with and they seem to provide the best care they can with those things in mind. I'm thankful every day for Dr Bhathal's help in significantly improving my life.
Savannah the nurse here is top notch!! However, that’s the only positive thing here. The doctor thinks she is self righteous and above any and all illnesses. She makes you feel bad for having diabetes, no matter how you developed it. She berates you for having it and scares you into thinking this is the end of life for you. I stoped going to her and am now letting my primary care physician handle my diabetes care. Will not recommend her AT ALL!!
I did a lot of research before deciding to see Dr. Bhathal. I found her to be extremely knowledgeable about osteoporosis. I have a complicated history and she spent a great deal of time with me. I was impressed with how thorough she was. She even called my other physicians to discuss a course of treatment. Those Drs contacted me to let me know how impressed THEY were. Her nurse is very sweet and compassionate and has called several times to give me lab results and to check on my progress. I highly recommend Dr. Bhathal.
Dr Bhathal was extremely knowledgeable and thorough. She spent a great deal of time with me going over my complicated medical history. She called my other physicians to get additional information and discuss my case. Her sweet and compassionate nurse followed up with me to make sure I’d seen my lab results on the patient portal and asked if I had any questions. I found her to be warm and concerned but also extremely professional. She answered all of my questions. It’s a little annoying to have Drs type on the computer as they ask questions, which can seem a little cold since they are not making eye contact, but I appreciate the concern of getting my medical history right! It is not the doctors fault they use computers to log in your information, It’s the government and insurance companies mandated hoops they have to jump through! I highly recommend Dr. Bhathal!
Very kind, listens.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
