MY FAVORITE GI SPECIALIST

My husband and I both LOVE Dr. Siegel! He has a great sense of humor and a great bedside manner!!

Dr. Siegel was very professional and also so fun loving and comforting. His empathy was also very much appreciated. He listened to understand. We do not know, just yet, what my full diagnosis is, but Dr. Siegel said, up front, that although he won’t be finding the final answer… he will do as much as he can to help in finding one. He was honest enough to say that the hematologist, I am also under the care of, would be where my answers will come from. He was transparent and to the point. His straight forward, plain speaking bed side manner made me and my husband so comfortable.

He has very good bedside manner. I felt respected and that he cared about my situation. He explained things easy enough to understand and he was funny too. Which helped when I was so nervous and in pain. I would definitely go back to see him and trust him with my health. Wonderful experience.

I recently had a gtube put in and after going home, it was too tight and I was in a lot of pain. I met him in the ER. He was funny, informative and taught me how to adjust the tube myself. I felt brave and like he really cared about what I was going through. I will definitely go back to see him again and trust him with my health.

I really appreciated his kindness. He listened and was most helpful. Explained things very simple and easy to understand. Took time to show me how to adjust things for myself. Staff was great, not a long wait time. Will definitely go back for any digestive needs I have in the future.

He is so attentive and caring and he never fails to make a patients day!!

These reviews can’t be correct. I’m writing this review to make people aware that this Dr. misdiagnosed my issue. He advised my throat could not be stretched and proceeded to tell me that when he went in to do this due to a hiatal hernia that was at the base of my esophagus and caused my esophagus to close up. He never diagnosed the hernia that was diagnosed accidentally. When I went for a swallow test. The doctor saw the hiatal hernia on the x-ray that was performing the swallow test. So it was totally by accident that I even was able to know what was causing the problem in my esophagus. I paid him to put me to sleep and stretch my esophagus and when I woke up he advised he could not do this as the tissue there was to thin and may tear. I couldn’t eat anything at this point. Because of Dr. Siegel, I was unable to eat for a month. Thankfully, holistic healthcare Dr. Jimmy Steger gave me the name of Dr. Orleans, which has since retired and he was able to stretch my throat. This worked perfectly. This happened over a year ago, but since my symptoms are starting to resurface. I will need to find another Dr. The only reason I am writing this review (didn’t want to) is because of these reviews. How he treated me was totally uncalled for. He even attempted to rich me in to one of his studies. Thank goodness I don’t participate in this and believe him. It was by accident that I realized what was causing my discomfort/sickness. I thank God for this, because if I hadn’t not sure where I would be right now. Very serious situation that was not taken serious at all. PS. I asked him what I could eat and he said milkshakes. I will also gives props to Dr. Jimmy Steger, if it had not been for him. I wouldn’t have made it through this. worst experience of my life.

By far, this has been the best experience I had with a doctor in my lifetime. I drove 7 hours from Texas to see Dr. Siegel on Feb. 14th. After my consultation, I was advised that someone had to accompany me back to my hotel after the procedure. Being from Texas, that only meant that someone would have to accompany me for my future colonoscopy appointment. Unexpectedly, Dr. Siegel volunteered to drive me back to my hotel if I was unable to have someone accompany me on the day of the procedure. Needless to say, what an amazing, compassionate gesture. So now I'm in the office to make an appointment and sure enough there was an opening for the following day. What a blessing. There was no need to make a return trip back. Dr. Siegel, along with his staff, showed nothing but eagerness, compassion, and professionalism. Thank you all for making my visit comfortable and welcoming. Rafael Reyes
