Exceptional doctor! Excellent with kids, energetic, super knowledgeable, very detail oriented and the just the sweetest most does to earth doctor with bedside manners out if this world. I love him and so does my children❤️
Dr.Holmes is the best part about Children’s Medical. He is always extremely knowledgeable and reassuring. He’s always been super kind and helpful during wellness and sick visits. I won’t take my child to any other Dr!
The practice as a whole is fine. Dr. Wood is very thorough and amazing. However we have had very poor experience with Dr. Holme. He came highly recommended by many of our friends and online. I do not know if his “ popularity “ has gotten the best of him and as numbers of patients/clients increased, the quality decreased, or if there is something else going on. Our baby is 15 months and we have only taken him in 3 times for sickness. All other visits were normal check ups. So we are not the type of parents that bring our child in for every little thing. But every time we have needed to take our child in because he obviously is not well, he does a Quick Look over ( as if he’s just checking to make sure the baby is not dying on his watch ) and just tells us to come back if it progresses. We’ve always left uncertain about what is wrong or the next step. Sure enough, when we wait 2 days and he is worse, we request another doctor and when they check him out, they act as if they can’t believe something wasn’t done on the first visit. This has happened 2 of the 3 sickness visits. Our child had major tongue and lip tie which was not brought up on any of the check up appointments by Holmes. We had a normal check up visit scheduled today which we requested Dr. Wood. There are issues that once again were not caught by Dr. Holmes that we have to see a specialist for. I do recommend the practice. But if you want thorough examinations and clear answers to your questions and not feel like you just went to a “ drive thru doctor “ use any other doctor besides Holmes.
Hes always good about answering questions!!
This doctor is amazing in every way. His bedside manner is wonderful and he takes the time to listen to what is going on. He is a very knowledgeable and caring doctor, we love him.
Dr. Holmes was not at all what I expected being in the group at Children's Medical Group. My past experiences there with other doctors were wonderful. But my visit with Dr. Holmes today with my sick 6 year old was awful. His bed side manner was ridiculous. I went in with my 3 girls and because we are African Americans, he felt as if he had to fist bump with my girls to say hello and when he addressed me, called me a "girl". This is unacceptable behavior from any doctor seeing my sick child!
Fantastic bedside manner! Very knowledgeable and answers all questions. I highly recommend!!
We decided to make Dr. Holmes our baby's pediatrician because the one we used for my older child didn't have any open appointment times. I am so glad we did because he is excellent. He listens, explains things very well, and is very personable. He I would definitely recommend him.
Dr. Holmes is very personable, making both parents and baby comfortable. He listens to and validates parental concerns while keeping the mood light hearted with well-timed humor. We saw him a few times on sick visits when our regular pediatrician was unavailable, and decided to make the switch because we are so impressed with him. I would definitely recommend him!
Great doctor! Was able to work my daughter in for a sick appointment. She is 3 and he was great with her and really got on her level. Highly reccomend. If we didn't have an established pediatrician I wouldn't hesitate to use him.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
