My father is a va patient who wouldn’t be be here if it were not for the emergency room Dr at SMH realizing the horrible cancer care my father was receiving with the va in Boloxi . I was given a case worker who was able to have him admitted so that he could start treatment and with that he is now receiving his radiation from Dr. Ellingwood . Dr. Ellingwood and his staff have been beyond AMAZING ! His nurses Katie & Cassy and others have been a absolute BLESSING !! I can’t say enough good things about the whole office and the care we have received since he first saw my father in the hospital. They make sure his pain is treated adequately . Every time I call they promptly call me back and answer all my questions and if we need outside help they do all they can to help get you where you need to be . They go above and beyond to help you get what you need and that all your needs are addressed right down to providing me with dressings for his bed soars. I have had to ask several times would they mind checking things that worried me and no questions asked it’s always been sure no problem we will take care of it . I will be forever grateful for Dr.Ellingwood and his staff!

I can’t say enough good things about Dr.Ellingwood and his staff , they have went above and beyond with their care for my father. The kind and truly caring staff and office atmosphere have made this difficult time a lil’ easier . Not once have they fell short when it comes to adequate pain treatment. Many times I’ve asked a nurse to check something that worried me and each time it was always absolutely we sure will. I will forever be grateful for him and all his staff and how good they have been to me and my father ! Truly a BLESSING!!

After every one of my radiology visits Dr. Ellingwood reviewed my results and conversed with me about books we have read and things going on in my life. The point being that he made an office visit more than just an office visit. He made you feel relaxed with a mix of humor and deep professional care. I actually looked forward to my visits with Dr. Kenneth Ellingwood and that was a 120 roundtrip mile drive, 5 days a week, for almost 4 months. I don't think that can be said of many doctors. I hold Dr. Ellingwood in the highest esteem, and I thank God and Dr. Ellingwood, and I might add the radiologist Andrew Preston, for prolonging my life for ten years now. If you remember Robert Young as the wise but avuncular Dr. Marcus Wellby, then you have him in Dr. Kenneth Ellingwood.
