I love Dr. Sindel! He’s a brilliant man and he has always taken the time to spend with my son and I. He’s very thorough! We drive a little over an hour to see him. If we live three hours away, I would still take my son to see him. He’s very knowledgeable. The staff here is very amazing as well. We’ve truly always received the best of care. Recommend 100%!
I absolutely love Dr. Sindel. I was in hospital with pneumonia and she was there. She's caring and listen to her patients. I did my follow up at her office which is very professional. I was very comfortable with putting my health in her hands. She's thorough and would recommend her. Brandy Younger
It was such a great experience he did every test he could do for my son to make the best choice of medication and he even helped me when he didn’t have to I’m so thankful for him and his kind staff ❤️
Dr. Sindel has been my asthma doctor for the last 12 years. At the beginning of my appointment I went through the standard asthma tests, which was to be expected. However, I ended up sitting alone in the examination room for THREE AND A HALF HOURS before he came in to review my results. I would've left after an hour of waiting, but I had to get my inhaler dealt with before going to college that week. When he did finally come in the room, he made small talk and asked what my major in school was. I told him computer science and he had the audacity to tell me that women aren't biologically capable of being good at programming. After looking at my results, he then proceeded to tell me that "Well, you breathe better with an inhaler." YEAH, I KNOW. THAT'S WHY I'M HERE. THAT'S WHY I'VE BEEN SEEING YOU FOR TWELVE YEARS. So he made me wait 4 hours to tell me that I still have asthma and that I'll never be successful in my career.
I wouldn’t send a dog to him. Doesn’t listen. Period. Didn’t assess my daughter. He looked at her from a far and asked me to describe her eczema and rash characteristics. Like he couldn’t look and evaluate her. Will never return.
My three year old was recently hospitalized, she has severe asthma. After being discharged we made an appointment with Dr. Sindel. One of our main concerns was that after our child was given a dose of prednisolone on two separate occasions, within 30 minutes she couldn't breathe. She had to be hospitalized both times. I explained to Dr. Sindel that myself, her father and her primary care physician felt she was having an allergic reaction to it. He didn't listen to us, he told us there was no way she was having an allergic reaction... In his words, " saying your daughter had a reaction to that steroid is like saying, you crashed your car after eating a egg sandwich.... Was it the egg sandwich that caused you to crash or the fact that you couldn't drive." He wasn't listening to our concerns, we told him that it could just be the dye in the steroid but we knew something was causing her too have a reaction, he didn't listen, and wrote her out the same prescription. He wouldn't do the allergy test on her, even though I told him I noticed she was having flare ups after eating certain foods, he said oh no, she's fine. I felt so bad that he just wouldn't listen to what me and her father was telling him... He made us feel like we were the most ignorant people. I found a pediatrician and lung specialist that listened to our concerns and we found out that it was indeed the red dye in the steroid that was causing her to have a bad reaction. The new doctor found a steroid that worked for our baby. We also found out that she had several food allergies. Dr. Sindel could've helped us, if he had just listened to our concerns about our child. I'm so thankful another doctor did!
NOT sure how you can make an assessment if all you’re doing is asking me questions about my child’s rashes and not even touching the child? Told us everything about her eczema that we already knew. Gave tons of false information. Very weird. I was in awe at his mannerisms. Typing the entire time. Did an allergy test on my daughter’s back that was already filled with rashes . I’m sure the results were false positives. Nurse was rude as well. I didn’t catch her name . Second nurse was pleasant
Dr. Sindel was pleasant and patient and actually listened to me as I explained my allergy symptoms. I don't know if the treatment will solve the problem, but it was refreshing to go to a doctor who took the time to try and figure it out. Also, the entire staff was courteous and professional. A good experience overall.
went for one thing..(to have a test for an allergic reaction) and insted he wanted to focus on our asthma, which we were not even there for. Apparently that is his "specialty" and he likes to talk about it. So we wasted an hour and a half, ran out of time to do what we were actually there for, and he wanted to set us up for another co-pay to come back for what we wanted. Terrible attitude..totally dismissed anything we had to say ..i guess we had nothing of value to contribute. Refused to go back.
This doctor was so incredibly offensive. I do not what his problem was, but I was not allowed to say a single thing and be validated. Its like he wanted to treat me like a pill shopper or drug head. I went to him to get a scrip for simple allergy antihistamines, eye drops and a scrip for environmental controls to help me with managing my allergies, which have been lifelong. I am required to have this to meet FSA regulations. He really just had the worst attitude and tried to shoot my simple requests down. I am well acquainted with my history, yet he did not validate a single thing i said, nor did he allow me to speak. He was highly directive, rude and rather dictatorial. I was shocked. I almost laughed at him, because I thought "WTH!..who is this?" I can most assuredly say I will never darken his office doors again and will seek out another MD. I wish to emphasize that these scrips were for OTC, which are required for FSA reimbursement. This doctor needs to adjust his attitude and tone down the belligerent, arrogant attitude, along with the negative comments he makes. I will communicate the need for others TO STAY AWAY. The only thing good about this office was the staff, who were decent and respectful, which is more than I can say for the doctor. Phooey...left a very bad taste in my mouth.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
