I am impressed with the knowledge and compassion of the new Administrator and Director of Nursing. When I walk the hallways the staff are so kind. With all the craziness that covid has caused, it’s nice to see individuals that have a passion for geriatrics!

My mom was in another nursing facility that was destroyed in Hurricane Sally. Lynwood took in all of their residents and in this crisis mode handled the transition very well. The staff and director were directly involved and helpful. We moved my mom two weeks later when we found a replacement facility and they assisted in helping us get her and her belongings together so we could move her. Thanks to Lynwood and their staff and director for stepping up to the plate in our time of need.

This place is horrible. My aunt was here for 3 months and only had 1 bath. She started to develop a sore under her breast. They also did not pay attention to her required diet restrictions. She was not able to eat pork and they brought her Ham Mac n cheese which caused her blood pressure to go up. I hope they shut this place down

My Mother had been a patient there for five years. They are horrible. The latest administor Elizabeth her assistant Allison have managed to ruin off the majority of the good workers and kept those who are verbally and physically detrimental to the elderly. They cannot be bothered with ensuring that proper maintenance is conducted, such as cleaning out the air conditioning vents or repairing broken doors. They simply don't care. Most recently I was unable to visit my Mom for over 10 days do to a out of town work assignment. I came back to find my Mother weezing and fighting for a breath. Her oxygen had been turned off at doomed point and she had pneumonia. Course I'd the nurses in charge of get care had stopped to speak to her they would have known immediately. To my knowledge there is only two good nurses left, Carolina and Michael. If you are thinking about placing your family member there, than don't. They may not survive their horrible care.

As a home caretaker i can not recommend anyone sending a friend, patient or family member to this facility..I planned my visits for diffrent times of the day to get a full scope of treatment...the person i was visiting was often neglected- not given required meds when requested, dirty urinals sitting around the room, him lying naked uncovered on the bed, the urine smell from the shared ( 4 bed) bathroom was nauseating.The rudeness of one of the RNs was beyond belief...My friend ended up back in Mobile Infirmary in worse shape than before he went to this rehab.

I had to place my sister at Lynwood in memory care. The staff is very passionate and courteous. I am very pleased with Lynwood.
