Always helpful - Dr. Cochran and his staff have always been very helpful, courteous and pleasant. Never a long wait either. Recommend him every single time.
Absolute horrible people to work for. Don’t train people correctly, lie to employees, just an outright dump to work in.
I know that doctors and nurses are in the medical field to make money but you’d think they actually care about people too. At this place they do not.I don’t have insurance so I am a self pay patient. They are trying to charge me $800 for an ultrasound that only averages $230 here in Alabama. It’s an ultrasound that I need because I’m having a reaction to the COVID vaccine, and I need to know if it is safe for me to take the second shot. This is messed up.Self pay patients usually get a discount at any type of medical facility, but not here. Here they like to charge 4 times the average to people who don’t have insurance.
Some of the doctors are amazing however I feel bad for the employees they do so much for this company and I’ve heard from numerous current and previous nurses, medical assistants, techs that this company treats them terribly. I even overheard about a nurse being written up for a family emergency and it’s just so sad that these nurses do so much and there’s no humanity in the company. Patients come first but your employees are the glue that help run the business. I feel so bad for these workers that is why I decided to find another cardiologist to take care of me. I care about how you treat your team because that’s the team that’ll be taking care of me. If anyone reads this review I highly recommend using someone else these workers aren’t treated fairly and that most likely means they won’t care about how they treat patients because they aren’t being taken care of. Compassion goes a long way !
Some of the nurses are disappointingly rude and condescending over the phone to patients who are suffering. I record all the phone calls. The doctors Are very professional and compassionate knowledgeable.
Dr. Francez was great, it's the business office I have an issue with. We applied for financial aid, for an unexpected bill...due to the way one of the staff informed us of the coverage of some tests. After many calls, not ever being able to talk to Pam...I continued to pay them, while waiting to hear if we would be approved. I was given many excuses as to why it was taking so long...mainly that "it was still under review." I called the last time, near the end of the year, and finally got to talk to Pam. I told her how long it had been and that I had never heard anything. She said, let me take a look at it...it was then, 14 months....so if she had to go look at it, I'm guessing she had never looked at it before. She told me that all of that would have to be closed out at the end of the year, and I would get a letter....BUT, SHE THEN SAID, I CAN PRETTY MUCH TELL YOU THAT YOU PROBABLY WONT BE APPROVED! Its now been 16, going on 17 months, and I still haven't heard one word from them. That was a lot of work getting all of that information together, then to not get any answers in well over a year...is unacceptable. I'm writing this because I know if I call again, I wont get any answers....hope nobody else has experienced this with their business office. I would hate to know they have done this to anyone else!
Great care, friendly easy to talk to Doctors!
