Dr Bryant is very professional and has a great bedside manner. His work is exceptional. I'm very pleased with the outcome of my procedure and highly recommend him.

As a family physician for 38 years I am very careful obtaining medical services. I was referred by my optometrist for upper eyelid ptosis. Review of his credentials indicates excellent training. My experience both as a patient and referring physician to Eye Center South have been excellent. My blepharoplasty procedure was well explained and outcome is very good. I can tell that he actually takes pride in his work, which is unfortunately not that common these days.

I have been a family physician for 38 years and recently had upper lid blepharoplasty with very good results. I travelled more than 2 hours for each visit, but was worth the time and effort. He spent adequate time, and explained the procedure well.

I thought I was the only very unhappy person with Dr. Bryant. All of the negative reviews are exactly what happened to my procedure...I wish people could see this horror eye I am left with! AND yes there is the procedure where he can fix HIS mistake and who would want to trust him again? AND pay him to correct HIS mistake. One more item....my eyes are tearing, burning and itching and he recommended Artificial Tears.....I have a recommendation for him and his artificial tears!

I would not go to him again. I had a blepharoplasty done and the eyelids are uneven. I asked him about this at follow up, but he said that there is not that much difference and if he tried to fix it, he might make the drooping eyelid higher than the other. It is bad enough, that others have commented on it. He was cocky and did not want to spend any time on my concern.

Dr Bryant was great at explaining what we were going to do. Very pleasant to deal with. Would 100% recommend seeing him.

Bottom Line Up Front (BLUF). If your eye can be fixed within the ROE established by the Heavenly Father, Dr Bryant can fix them. I’m a retired Air Force pilot (Lt Col). I currently fly jets for a major airline out of Atlanta Ga....at least for another year. Obviously, my eyes have been one of, if not THE greatest asset of my profession. I’ve been privy to some of the best eye care that US Air Force Flight Surgeon, and later, the FAA medical community has to offer. Dr Bryant, his staff, and his methods, are the best I’ve seen. Father Time loses no battles. When your time comes, if you can, you’ll be glad to be in Dr Bryant’s chair. Hayward Hornsby

This is an updated review. It turns out the problem I had with Dr. Bryant's office was the fault of my BC/BS insurance. When my insurance received the preapproval paperwork from Dr. Bryant's office, Blue Cross sent it to the wrong department and it just sat there. I finally contacted Blue Cross just to see if the paperwork was ever submitted to them, that is when the error was found. I do wish that the doctor's office would have followed up with Blue Cross when they never received anything back from them though. I will wait and see how this finally works out.

I do not recommend Richard Bryant. I feel he was extremely rude to me and I am not satisfied with results of procedure he performed. Have since been billed with outrageous hidden charges. I do not recommend Richard Bryant. I feel physically botched and financially scammed.

The staff at Eye Center South, Dothan is very friendly, thorough and efficient. The Surgical Center, in the same building is a very well equipt and staffed facility. Dr. Bryant strives for patient satisfaction from diagnositic testing through recovery from surgery. His staff and the staff of the surgical personnel are professional and caring. After my experience I even took my 81 year old husband to Dr. Bryant and we both are very pleased with the correction of our individual conditions.
