List of Robert Brinson's Reviews
Nice people overall, however each time I visited for my scheduled appointments, I waited for a minimum of 1.5-2 hours in the waiting room past my appointment time. Once placed in a room it would be, at the least, and additional 30-60 minutes before I saw the doctor. He spent less than 15 minutes with me each time. Following up on important test results was poor. There was a lack of focus from the doctor when trying to find out important information that was maddening. When I would remind him of what he told me to do, he said that he couldn't remember what he tells every patient, but I believe that's what doctors notes should be for, unless I'm mistaken. Each solution he gave me was pre-prescribed cookie cutter solutions that he had a stack of, nothing seemed personalized to what I was describing my problems were. Figuring out the root of the problem didn't seem to be a priority. He did seem to have empathy for the situation, but his bedside manner and approach wasn't something I could live with any longer.
Dr. Brinson has been phenomenal with helping me to better understand my gastro issues. Very efficient and professional. His office staff has been wonderful and I love the extra safety precautions the office took by having the drive-up virtual parking lot appointments during this awful pandemic season. Would highly recommend.
My 90 year father was hospitalized for a gallbladder attack. Dr Brinson came in and did an endoscopic procedure. He didnt bother talking to my 84 year old mom afterwards. They were left guessing. He remained in the hospital the next day and a half with no feedback or follow up. He might have the best bedside manner in the world, but comunication is poor, very poor.
I was referred to Dr. Brinson in 2014 for gerd complications. An egd was performed with two follow up eggs to check the healing status. His bedside manner is wonderful. At appointments throughout the years yes I had to wait, but he was worth it. I always saw him not a PA. I've moved and met with a gastroenterologist that's supposed to be really good. Sure I got in right away. I'm in pain with an ulcer and gerd has me to where it hurts to swallow water. I met and was examined by a PA. The new doctor spent 5 minutes with me. An egd has been scheduled next month. No bloodwork to check for the bacteria that causes ulcers. Nothing to help me cope for the next month. After the egd confirms the ulcer then I'll be able to start the two antibiotics and Nexium type medication with it. I have a history of ulcers. Having nausea is ok. As long as I'm not vomiting blood. I miss doctor Brinson.
Don’t recommend. Staff will cancel appointments on you suddenly via mail instead of calling to discuss viable options. Military members: highly recommend taking your TRICARE referral to another business.
I was referred to Dr. Brinson and he, himself, is very nice and pleasant but the service to get to be seen by him is ridiculous. Been twice now and sat over an hour both times past my appointment time. On multiple occasions, I tried to call to ask questions about current predicaments or to renew a prescription and the phone would continuously ring and provide no way to leave a message. I would attempt to call for DAYS before finally reaching someone.
Dr. Brinson and his staff are amazing. He’s very knowledgeable and will get to the root of any issue. He’s helped me tremendously.
Awful..3 hr wait .totally overlooked serious digestive problems ..another dr found the issues and is treating them..serious issues causing much pain that lasted way too long..thanks to dr brinson..in my opinion and several other he does not even deserve to be ..practicing..
I have been a patient of Dr. Brinson for many years. He has always taken great care of me! Office staff is kind and helpful.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
