On Nov.29th I rushed my husband to Jackson ER with severe right side pain,after alot of tests were done...we were introduced to Dr.Wesley Barry!! We thank the Lord for crossing our paths with Dr.Barry,he took out my husband's rotten gallbladder that had set up a severe infection in him,plus repaired his hernia. My husband had never had any kind of surgery before so this all was a shock to the both of us,Dr.Barry cares about his patients plus there family,he kept me informed then talked everything over with me. So if your in need of a caring,kind,has compassion for all involved,plus has the education to back it up...call him please!! We only got to meet his staff one time,they couldn't have been more professional and kind to us...Thank you again Dr.Barry & Staff we appreciate everything you all have done for us. Dr.wesley is a great sergon I have no complaints with my surgery all went great the healing went well all scars are just about gone.

I have never in life experience the messiness and unprofessionalism of Doctor Barry's front office, the office Manager has absolutely no people skills, the Secretary is ghetto and won't hesitate to discuss your personal business with others in the office( my experience). I wouldn't wish Dr Wesley H. Barry on my worst enemy, I almost died after this man performed surgery on me, coded during recovery and as I was suffocating from the drainage tube not being properly placed in my neck , blood filling up in my neck cutting off my air , Dr Barry wouldn't answer his phone when the ER nurses called him before I coded, and when he did answer the nurse said, he said he's not coming, leaving my only Daughter in tears, my children were in the mindset of preparing a funeral, thank God I made it through. I had to follow up with this man for my after care , and he did NOT apologize, didnt mention my ordeal. If you are able to , look at other Doctors . Please dont believe the 5 star rating, look at other ratings on Dr Wesley H. Barry.

My husband had an appointment today at Dr Wesley Barry's office. Unfortunately, his primary care physician receptionist scheduled this appointment at his office in error. Nevertheless, this was the first visit & the last one! Dr. Barry was extremely arrogant & rude! After my husband and I informed him that the receptionist set his appointment at his office by mistake & ask him if he could receive his co-payment back, he became very defensive & stated to my husband very rudely 'I don't want your co-payment. " I could care less about your co-payment." Also, we witnessed him speaking to his nurse & another staff member with absolutely no respect whatsoever!! I would never return back to his office. If there's anyone else you can see as a Dr please do. Dr. Barry has allowed his money & title to really blow his head up. If this man doesn't learn how to treat his patients, he will be out of business in a short period of time. It doesn't matter how much money you have or the fact that you are a doctor, you should treat EVERYONE with respect!!

My name is Sandra , I met Dr Barry am scheduling to have ALIF end of June, Dr Barry is very professional , explains everything thoroughly . His staff is very caring. and he was on call that day but the wait was not long at all. I feel much safer and more confident about my surgery that is coming up the end of this month. Just knowing I have such a skilled surgeon to assist with the surgery along with the orthopedic doctor. I would recommend this doctor to everyone.
