Nmc Health - Immediate Care Newton's Online Review Report Card

Went here once because I suspected my son had staph. They said he didn't and i wasn't satisfied with that answer so i went to NMC and they said he had staph and gave him the appropriate medication. Just came in today for suspected whooping cough and have been waiting for over an hour after my apt date to see a doctor. There was nobody waiting or in the parking lot either. I think they have forgotten us in here.

Very nice, professional an quick care

Considering this is a walk-in clinic, the wait time is pretty short. I saw Ronda and thought she took good care of me.Just recently returned. I saw Tina and she was wonderful.

They are very friendly and take their time to make sure you understand and are comfortable

Xpress Wellness Urgent Care is wonderful! My daughter hit her head in a fall, and everything about our experience here was great. We made our appointment online and registered online, so we didn't have to wait in the waiting room. The receptionist and medical staff were so kind, and the doctor gave my daughter a thorough exam and lots of good information. I was so worried and feel so much better now that she's been seen here. I highly recommend Xpress Wellness!

my husband went in with severe foot pain and swelling. after going to Newton medical center Er multiple times over the past 5 years with this issue and getting no answers and getting treated poorly, he went to xpress wellness and got in right away, had excellent care, and finally got some answers. very impressed with the service

I recently took my toddler son here because he had been very sick for more than 24 hours. We fought the clock to get there before they closed and I felt terrible that I showed up at 5:30pm when they close at 6. Still, the whole team took the time they needed with my boy to make sure we got to the bottom of what was going. We saw Tina Wuthnow, who had the utmost patience for my son when he refused to let her see his throat and started biting the tongue depressor and clenching his mouth shut.He was eventually tested for strep throat and COVID-19, based on his symptoms. While those tests are difficult to administer on a 2-year-old who is already terrified of the mask and gown the doctor wears, Tina was calm and took care of us. While I was getting to be a bit frustrated, she remained calm and chipper, trying to encourage my son to cooperate.It took less than an hour for the check-in, exam, to gather the tests and to run those tests and get results. It would have taken far less time had my son not made it difficult to swab his throat or nose.I was highly appreciative that they didn't try to rush us out and send us anywhere else. I've been to other places that would have done that. I also was super pleased that they had us in and out of there quickly and home in time for dinner.So grateful for this extraordinary care we have here in Newton - and that we have an option that has been a staple in our community for years. I can't recommend them enough - especially if you have young children. Go see Tina!!! She's the absolutely BEST!

ABSOLUTELY RUDE. I just called to ask a question about their services and the receptionist answered the phone loudly and said “If you want a room, I don’t have one so you will have to sit out and wait in your car”. I was absolutely taken aback! She did not say hello or “convenient care” or anything like that. I asked if she was talking to me or someone else because that is an absolutely inappropriate way to answer a phone. She then proceeded to ask me what I want. I told her that I just wanted to ask a simple question and that that was rude.I will absolutely not take my family for care here if they can’t even be bothered to greet their patients decently.

Absolutely the worst, had no idea of how to do their job. Husband went for a DOT physical and she thought she should have his whole medical history, which is NOT necessary, even contacted his PCP!!Left & went to another facility out of town where they know their job 👍
