After letting my insurance know that Dr. Knight said to us while I was at an appointment with a friend they were going stop seeing people with state insurance because they don’t get paid enough and it’s not worth their time. During a health care appointment They after that decided we weren’t able to be seen in their clinic any longer. Not like we wanted to be after hearing that anyways. So he basically was letting us know that our insurance effected his ability to be a Doctor. Unless you were making them the most money they don’t care about your health. What an amazing thing to tell someone seeking healthcare. My Dr Gary Whiting retired and because I have state insurance no one else in the clinic would accept me as a patient. Dr. Tonya Graves refused my friend after this visit also for the same reason. Horrible facility all around. There is also a 350lb rude as ever lady who is always talking with her mouth full of food that schedules the appointments and cancels them or changes your appointment without even a 24hour notice. The whole facility needs major changes. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go here. They sent me there refusal of care letter stating they would also give me a referral to a different Dr that would actually continue to see me after mine retired STILL waiting to receive that. GREAT experience at NMC Health Immediate Care in Newton I rushed over at 530 one Sunday evening because my son was really sick. The office closes at 6. I was met with a crew ready to help and get to the bottom of what was going on. We didn’t feel rushed and Tina Wuthmow was AMAZING with my son Austen. I very much appreciate their whole staff and am VERY pleased with how quickly we were in and out. They also have a new “get in line” option on their website so you don’t have to wait in the waiting room It’ll text you when it’s your turn. SO cool

I gave birth to a beautiful baby boy yesterday who had to be transferred to Wesley Medical Center because his lungs just weren't quite ready. I am still at Newton Med and today is my birthday. all the amazing nurses got together and made me a nice card and brought it in to me along with a piece of brownie that was delicious. made this difficult day so much better. seriously, the nursing staff here is just the very best. so grateful for all they have done for me.

Dr Dodson and Nurse Amber did a amazing job taking care of my wife in the ER this morning. They showed extraordinary empathy, compassion, and are true examples of how patient care should be given. Newton is lucky to have them here. Thank you.....

Horrible ER experience. Rude staff. Substandard care. Had to seek care elsewhere afterwards. Leaving this vague to protect the patient, but I can say our family will NEVER go here again.

I had difficulty were they said they couldn’t find my EKG reports to clear me for surgery. They had told my drs I never took the test. I was so upset. Cause I am having surgery Oct 1st. And was on hold for so long and everything I did i couldn’t get through. So finally a woman from cardiology name NINA came through and got to the problem and took care of everything. She should be commended for doing her job and making sure things were right. Bless you NINA for doing a great job. I hope they know that Newton Hospital has a great worker who cares about her Job. Thank you Nina, and bless you

what a joke of a hospital. doctors are no better at this facility. I would rather sew a cut with poison ivy vine than go back to this waste of real estate

This is for Dr. Pigg and his staff. they all were so nice and helpful and explained everything. I would highly recommend this Hospital and very clean nice rooms good was good as well.
