My name is Blain Eaton. I am the proud husband of Holly Eaton. We both heard about so many wonderful total hip replacement outcomes, with Dr. Todd Sheils, that we too hired Dr. Sheils, to do my total right hip replacement. Dr. Sheils did an outstanding job on my new hip, and stopped 95% of all related pain. And above all, Dr. Sheils is a Christian. According to my mom, who has endured three knee replacements and a hip, most by Dr. Sheils, he is the best surgeon. Her pain level and inflammation are lower than that of 2 other doctors. She can tell his skills are top-notch and wound even heals better with less scaring due to his skill. He may be cocky but can deliver. When I need a knee or hip, I am going to him.

Dr Sheils replaced my husband’s knee. I had the utmost respect for him as a doctor and man. I thought he showed a strength of character not often seen anymore. His skills as a surgeon are top notch. I was so impressed with him I made an appointment. My heel pain became so bad I couldn’t put any pressure on it. The pain was incredible even when I kept it propped up. I thought a cortisone shot would take down the inflammation. He informed me they don’t do that anymore. Advised Celebrex to a patient with ulcers. When I said I couldn’t take it he recommended Advil. I’m allergic. I told him I could take Tylenol. He shrugged his shoulders and said “No one’s ever died from heel pain”. I was stunned. His whole attitude was like I was a junky looking for a strong pain killer. I felt mocked and ridiculed. He told me to wear a boot for a month to let it heal. Informed him it wouldn’t heal. Been there done that. But I was so stunned by his attitude I let them give me a boot anyway. One that will cost me a lot of money. If it weren’t for the way he treated my husband with his knee, he’d be getting 1 star. I’m not going back. I feel bad enough. I don’t need to pay to be treated like I’m not worth his time.
