List of Aultman Orrville Hospital's Reviews
My husband came here for surgery, staff for his surgery was amazing. But got up stairs to his room it was cold, we said something they brought us warm blankets.. they don’t care if they checked on him. He had to tell them to turn on his leg compressions.. I came back in this morning room is freezing, Dr came In released him at 630 I called nurse to get him ready to go, she said oh it will be couple hours to get paper work done.. I would not recommend this place if you have to stay over night…
Ok
My son suffered a football injury back in the fall and after being advised by his coaches that he should probably be seen I took him to Aultman Orrville, worst experience ever. I am understanding when there is a pandemic going on, but the patient care given was very unprofessional. After speaking with the doctor an Xray was done. Unfortunately the doctor never came back to discuss the findings with us. A nurse came in with our discharge paperwork and said we were free to go. After I questioned the nurse and said we haven't even spoke to the doctor yet and go over the Xray. The nurse was very confused, and looked in our discharge paperwork and stated that it was tendinitis. After stating I don't agree with such findings and that my son taking the max dose of Ibuprofen wasn't easing his pain the slightest I left. It was a Saturday so I contacted his doctor first thing Monday morning and without even calling me back she must have reviewed the Xray herself and made the move to put a referral into Orthopedics where we found out my son had not 1 but 2 broken bones in his wrist. I refuse to pay my bill for such poor patient care. Do better Aultman Orrville.
I received care when having my first baby and all the staff, nurses and doctors went above and beyond to help me feel comfortable, safe and helped guide me through a 38 hour labor. I would recommend this hospital to anyone who is pregnant and in search of a great hospital. The room also included a super comfortable bed that came down from the wall that my husband and I were able ti share after I delivered our daughter which was a HUGE bonus. The room was kept clean as well as the bathroom, and the food wasnt bad either. They also offer tubs for water births as well.
If I get into a car wreck in front of this hospital, someone better take me to Wooster, Wadsworth, Akron, ANYWHERE but here. My dad was admitted to Aultman Orrville for Covid. He was getting a bit delirious, which once he finally got transferred they performed a UTI test which was positive. That should have been one of the FIRST things this place should have done. Instead they called him unruly because he literally had no idea what was going on or where he was. They pumped him full of MORPHINE to the point he could not even speak, or move. This man was not in pain. It took 4 of his children 3 days of calling nonstop to finally get a phone call in. And that wasn't until I walked in there demanding to see him. In which case he was laying sideways on his bed looking like he was going to fall off with no one in the room watching him. I begged the hospital to let me sit in there with him, so he had someone he recognized to comfort him, so he wouldn't have to be "sedated", because other hospitals were allowing one Covid negative visitor. They refused,. In my heart I believe they didn't want anyone to witness the straight neglect he was receiving from the staff here. Finally one of the nurses held the phone up to his ear, basically admitted to me it was wrong what they were doing. He couldn't even speak. Just moaned in paralysis. It was heartbreaking. He was finally transferred to Canton to be put on a ventilator once a bed opened up. Still not one single phone call to try and calm him and explain where he was and what was going on. The nurses were cold and rude. In person, and on the phone. The one star is because I cannot post this without clicking something!!!
Thank you to all the nurses, doctors, NP and lactation consultant. Everyone who was on staff and helped me through my induction, delivery and the 2 days afterward. We moved to the area in September, while I was already pregnant, and thus, had to switch providers and location of delivery. After these 3 days, my husband and I couldn't imagine choosing a different place.
This place is a JOKE..their pain management with Dr. Hill is as unprofessional as it gets. The man is arrogant power trip. Does not work well with patients. Over all he is a bully. Will tell everyone I can about this horrible doctor at Orrville Pain Management!!!! The star is for the very sweet women that work for this ape.
Front desk staff at ER is extremely rude and unwelcoming. If you’re working in healthcare, you should at least try to act like you care about the patients.
My aunt is in the hospital has COVID and she now has to wear oxygen and her oxygen level is at 82 with early stage pneumonia. She has pressed her call light over and over and the nurses turn it off. She would like to take a shower but again the nurses turn the call light off. Today she asked the when the doctor was going to come see her and the nurses got snotty with her. All in all there’s just not good service and attention to the patients. 0-10 recommend, I would advise you to choose somewhere that will take care of your loved ones rather than this place.
Exceptional Care! Came in for the very first time tonight. Dr. Aaron Clark is the best. Very prompt, professional and overall I had the best experience there tonight. I came in at midnight with a MRSA/Staph infection wound. Everyone was friendly and fast. I was treated with the upmost respect and care. I would recommend the ER to anyone that is in need of immediate medical treatment!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
