Dr. Carstensen, I must admit you are the better doctor I have ever met and very proud of your professionalism. If I had known you my right ?? would be better by now, but I have to take the bitter with your sweetness and pray for healing in my right hand and if I need any surgery again concerning my bones it has to the best Dr. Carstensen. It has been almost two years ago when I got my right hand done by another doctor in which his surgery wasn't successful. Dr. Carstensen, surgery on my left hand in February 2023 has been a great success in every way. Until this day my right hand isn't as good as my left hand. To recommend Dr. Carstensen is a under statement just say Dr. Carstensen is the best and only way to go

The entire staff of the Alabama Bone and Joint was professional from the moment I first called to inquire about becoming a patient. All questions were answered and I was made comfortable upon entering your facility. Each employee I encountered took great effort to be polite and considerate. After meeting with the doctor, I decided to proceed with PRP treatment. I am pleased that Dr Caratensen considered the distance I had driven to consult with him and adjusted his schedule to accommodate me. I tolerated the procedure very well. I am thankful for the knowledge and forward approach of this procedure that is available for non surgical candidates Thanks to the entire staff again for a pleasant experience! cathy peterson

Nice and he knows what he's doing and how to read an x-ray the shot they gave me in my knee is working I can walk without pain now,and he gave it to me 03/7/23 😊🙌

I’m a fairly new patient at Alabama Bone & Joint Clinic and can’t stress how fortunate I feel to have made the decision to switch doctors after 2 1/2 years of chasing my tail. Everyone here is very attentive from the front desk associates, to the nurses and especially the doctor and his PA! Dr. Carstensen listens to what you are experiencing and works to fix it in a timely manner! I just love it when a plan comes together.
