The very best Doctor in Baldwin County. He’s treated me over 30 years and saved my life numerous times. He was instrumental in my receiving lifesaving Liver Transplant. He had diagnosed issues when other doctors failed. His candid advice has been invaluable.Suzette LaBonte Waller
Great doctor. Have been seeing him for 10 years.
I do NOT recommend Dr. Bell to anyone! His office staff (Nora) is incompetent. She advised me my insurance had lapsed when in fact it had not. Both medicare and supplemental insurance were and always have been current. I was seeing an orthopedic doctor who performed surgery and 4 months of physical therapy as well as numerous prescriptions which were all paid.I called to ask a question and I was told to allow 3 days for a response. The nurse returned my call THREE WEEKS later after which I had already seen another doctor and had surgery for the problem. Also your wait time is usually 1 1/2 hours after your scheduled appt.time. Trust me, you can do better!
Dr.Bell is NOT a caring concerned doctor for the people. He has a policy if you need to cancel "for any reason at all", you are not allowed to make any appointments going forward. How can you work in a health services profession and not understand that family emergencies and life happens. I'm extremely glad I wasn't able to make it, I would hate to have a doctor like that looking after my health.

Never visited him before, but just watched him be incredibly rude to everyone at the dmv, stomp his feet like a five year old, and caused a huge scene. Oh and refused to leave! I would never ever have believed he was a doctor, despite him yelling that he was to everyone inside. Super cringy, hostile and embarrassing
So my Doctor definitely didn't call me back had an appointment today. Nothing sad to say I need to find a better doctor.
First off I don’t have much of a choice who I go to. Having tricare prime insurance limits us to very few choices of those who will accept the insurance. So upon relocating to the Robertsdale area, I started seeing Dr Bell. I am fairly healthy so I basically just needed my prescriptions and blood work done. I heard numerous stories from him about other local doctors being so bad and was told to take a different kind of thyroid medicine and I have been taking successfully for years and when I told him I had taken the medicine he was suggesting before but it didn’t work out for me and that’s why I was on what I was on he told me it was all in my head. He also kept making excuses for not refilling my hormone cream and then after three weeks of been totally out, not to mention numerous calls from me and numerous calls from my pharmacy, he finally had an office worker call me and say he would not refill it and he was sure he only meant for it to be temporary. I had been on it and monitored for years prior. So without warning I am forced to make a new patient appointment with a new dr and hope to get what I need from them. . I consider this very unethical. Very rude. Very unprofessional. A serious lack of compassion. I will not return to him ever again nor would I ever recommend him to anyone.
Poor experience! After having an appointment for 3 weeks, with trips to The Health Department for a Covid Test (it was negative), Urgent Care, and the Emergency Room, my parents arrived at 2:10 for a 2:15 Appointment, in their possession are a series of test results from both the Urgent Care and the Emergency Room. In the paperwork, it was noted my father had a slight fever from 3 days ago. They were denied entry and sent home, without anyone even checking his temperature in sight! We need a referral to an oncologist based upon finding at the ER and Dr. Bell would be the natural since we already had an appt to see him. This is frustrating and seems very stupid to deny service to an obviously sick person

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
