North Potomac Smiles's Online Review Report Card

They are the worst. Went for my first appointment and got turned away saying I need a deep cleaning and the annual one wont suffice. Next appointment was 3 months later and they gave it away to someone else! I was sitting in the parking lot waiting for them to give me the heads up to come and they called me telling me they gave it away. Drove here 2 times and both times were pointless. Took time off work to come here only to be disappointed. Never coming here again.

I have to give this practice 5 stars. Ive been living in the Rockville area for almost 15 years and have visited a number of dentists. Dr Matthews is wonderful, pleasant, attentive, and not overzealous or eager to pull, cap, etc like many dentists Ive observed. The office itself is extremely efficient in terms of appointments,processing your required forms or insurance, and Xrays etc. They state of the art clean equipment. And, the service is prompt. This is my first impression. I will continue to observe and look forward to having my teeth cared for here at this place.

I called in to get an appointment stating that I had abscess on a tooth that would mostly likely need extraction. I told the young lady I was in so much pain, that I was ready to pull my own tooth! She stated that she understood and the dentist would be to help relieve my pain.I also stated on my questionnaire that I have pretty bad gum disease and was looking into implants. I know my situation is bad and wanted to be upfront.I get to the appointment and the Dr. tells me, that my case is to advanced for the office and they cannot treat me until after I see a periodontist and only for the tooth extraction. They did not remove the tooth, take care of the abscess, and gave me a prescription for antibiotics (I had to ask) to take WITH FOOD! I cannot eat because of the tooth and the Dr. was aware of it. This Dr. seemed annoyed that I was even there seeking help. I know I am not the ideal patient because of the neglect of my teeth over the years; but I went there looking for help and I left out the same way I came in.

Dr. Kodzi and his team at North Potomac Smiles are first rate. I've received excellent treatment and strongly recommend him and his staff.

My husband, daughter, and I are all patients here. We find everyone to be very nice -- the front desk staff, hygienists, dental assistants, and dentists!! No complaints.

North Potomac Smiles is an excellent dental practice in my neighborhood. Dr. Nadim Kodsi, his associates and staff are very knowledgeable, attentive and courteous. I feel that my family gets the best dental care there. They really have their act together. Of note, they have made great use of the latest technology for scheduling, confirming appointments, and billing.

I really enjoy coming to this dental practice. My wait is never long in the waiting room, my dental hygienist is always friendly and my cleanings are thorough.Overall, I love coming here. I'm able to come before work and they get me in and out quickly.

Absolutely the best dental practice around! The staff is always so friendly, personable and accommodating. Rita always makes scheduling a breeze and treatment is reasonably priced and she always tells me exactly what is covered by my insurance and what may not be so there are no surprises. I actually do not hate going in for treatment (who really likes going to the dentist ?) and Dr. Kim always makes me feel comfortable and Maria also did a great job with my very difficult crown.

I had tooth pain on my left side for two years, and I was not happy with the first refills though they did help my teeth but not my pain. Dr. Kodsi quickly followed up and responded to my comments. He carefully checked my teeth again and provided options based on risk assessment. I am very impressed by his customer service and professionalism. He and his dental care are highly recommended.
